Dance With Me ~ Chapter 4
Jared's POV
"Ok class," Ms. Rivera began, "To learn how to do properly dance with a partner, you must get to know them."
When everyone looked around with confused looks, Ms. Rivera continued.
"You know, learn what they really mean when they scrunch their nose up or scratch the back of their head," she explained, "they might be confused or nervous about something and that is why you must learn; so that you can understand each of their movements."
"And that will help you dance better with them?" Gigi questioned, squinting her eyes as if that would help her understand what Ms. Rivera meant.
Ms. Rivera threw her arms up into the air and proclaimed "Exactly!"
"So all we have to do is learn each others movements and the meanings behind them as an assignment?" Rosie noted.
"Yep so hurry to it!" Ms. Rivera said as she gestured everyone to exit the room, "You must learn everything to know about each other by the end of these two weeks so you can demonstrate it and pass Tango."
So I have to learn more about Rosie when she probably hates my guts?, I thought, She probably won't even talk to me!
As I reached my hand up to brush through my hair, I hear a rustle of leaves behind me.
"You're frustrated aren't you?"
I turned around to see Rosie standing a few feet behind me with her head cocked to the side and a thoughtful look on her face as she bit her lip, waiting for my reply.
"Uh...yeah," I muttered looking into her emerald eyes but then looking away when I see her flinch.
I cross my arms and look back into her eyes, "How about you?" I smirk, "You seem a little antsy don't you?"
She closed her eyes and turned her head towards the trees to her right. I then heard her mutter something; it sounded as if she were counting.
I was about to ask as to what exactly she was doing when she stopped and turned her attention back to me with a glint of determination in her eyes.
"We're gonna have dinner at The Real Rome tomorrow night and you're paying," she snapped as she strutted towards me.
"And uh," Rosie smirked as she leaned into my ear, "Wear something nice..." she whispered.
I bit my lip, hard, as she pushed her way past me, leaving me standing there utterly dazed.
