We are standing in Dumbledore's office with Uncle Remus. Dumbledore has just asked us what powers we have. Holly and I look at each other *Should we tell him everything?* she asks me telepathically. I nod *We can trust him* I respond. We look back at Dumbledore. 

"Well...", I start, "I can become invisible" Holly cut in, "and I can make things invisible if I touch it." She continues, "We can also talk to one another in our minds." There is a pause before I remember, "Oh yeah, sometimes we can make ourselves look different." Dumbledore nods his head "an animagus? Interesting." Dumbledore looks at Remus and says, "they need to be taught how to harness their power. It could be useful if Voldemort ever returns." Remus becomes frustrated, "you can't just train them like dogs. They are kids and need to have a normal childhood." Dumbledore shakes his head, "it is already decided Remus. I will find somebody to take care of them and they will come to me five days a week to learn how to use their power." Uncle Remus tries to argue back, but Dumbledore is not having it and ignores him. Dumbledore tells us that he has a family in mind, but has to make arrangements first. For now we would be staying with him. He said that training starts tomorrow.

Lily Evans found out she was pregnant in December of her sixth year at Hogwarts. The first person she told was Severus. He was furious with James Potter for getting his girl pregnant at 16. Lily calmed him down enough so he would not murder James, but his hate for Potter never faded. Lily had a harder time telling the father-to-be, James. She loved him and was sure he would be excited, but she just could not build up the nerve to tell him. Finally in late January, she told him. He was excited of course, but also worried. They still had another year of school left and neither of them had jobs. Lily sent a letter to her parents and James sent a letter to his. Lily's parents were more than understanding and so happy to become grandparents. James's parents, on the other hand, we furious and wrote back saying how disgraceful it was. The told James and Lily that they should be ashamed and hide the pregnancy from their classmates to avoid rumors. That is what the did. Lily wore baggy clothing and used a concealment charm to hide her belly for the rest of the school year. Lily finished the year with James by her side. Over the summer, James found multiple part-time jobs to help provide for the baby. Lily's stomach grew and grew. At one of the many doctors appointments and checkups, they found out they were having twin girls. This stressed out the young couple even more. Lily's parents set up a nursery at their house. The babies would stay with them for Lily and James's final year of school and until the two of them got on their feet. Lily gave birth on August 20, 1977, to two beautiful, healthy girls. A few weeks later Lily and James departed for their final year at Hogwarts. Lily's mom sent daily letters with updates of the children. 

Lily and James graduated Hogwarts and both got full time jobs. They got married and bought a house in Godric's Hollow. Their daughters moved in with them and the four of them became closer than ever before. They only told a few people about their children because they were still ashamed due to things James's parents had told them countless times. Lily soon found out she was pregnant again. James's parents were more supported of this pregnancy because James was older and financially stable. Also, it was a boy. Lily gave birth to Harry on July 31, 1980. Not long after Harry was born, a prophecy about him came to life. The Potter's made plans to protect themselves, but also told their friends what to do if things went south. James and Lily made it very clear to Dumbledore what to do with Molly and Holly if they were to die. They wanted them to continue to push themselves with their powers and go beyond what was thought to be possible. Lily also requested that Dumbledore teach them about their past and why their parents died. That was the last time Dumbledore saw James and Lily Potter alive. Lily also went to her old friend, Severus, just a day before she died. James went to his friends, Sirius and Remus, and ask them to take care of his children if were to die. All the people James and Lily asked to watch over their children have done their best to keep those promises since the passing of James and Lily Potter.
