Barry was nervously setting up everything for his and Marci's one month anniversary. Shelby and Cyd came into "Barry's Lair" and asked in unison with concern, "What's wrong Barry?" "I just want everything to go perfect tonight," said Barry with a honest worrying tone.Shelby soon reassured him promising nothing will go wrong,which Cyd quickly agreed to.Finally believing his friends he finished setting up as they left because Marci was gonna be there in a hour.

Marci soon arrived and wanted to hurry and get this over with.She greeted Barry and quickly sat down as Barry got dinner ready. "What's wrong?" Barry asked worried that he messed up something. "Well I guess I should tell you now." Marci said with a guilty tone. "Tell me what."Barry stated wondering why she looked guilty. "Well I think we should break up." Marci said letting the weight off of her chest. "Can you tell me why?" Barry questioned feeling weird because he usually knows everything, everything except girls and their emotions. "Well I realized you have another love something I could never compete with because I know how much you love science."Marci said sadly realizing something else will always be more important than her. "Well I guess I should get going.Bye,Barry."Marci said kissing Barry on the cheek and walking out.
