*Interpreter translating for Blue*

"I miss hearing. I miss the soft pitter patter of rain drops falling from the sky. I miss the sound of cars accelerating on the freeway. I miss the strum of guitars and other instruments playing. I miss laughter but most of all, I miss the sound of music. That's all I ever had was music, to escape reality."

"When I first touched an instrument, I was 6 and that was my great grandmothers piano. I learned to read music and play the piano, my first ever song that I played was "Clair de dune" by Debussy.
When I was 8 I finally got to get my hands on the Cello...then finally the guitar and the flute. When I was 9..I finally started using my voice, singing was also one of the main things I loved to do...it was my everything.
My mom always said "your going to grow up as a music prodigy" or "your going to grow up as
America's best musician".
When I finally turned 13, I had my first concert.
All my family, friends from school and even some of my teachers were going...it was supposed to be a happy night but it wasn't. That night didn't turn into the best night of my life..no, it was the worst night of my life because I lost everything and everyone that I loved"

"And is that all Blue?"

"Yes"

"Well, thank you Blue for telling us how you feel, would someone like to go up next?"

The interpreter signs back to me what Mr.Lans said and I just nod, signing a "thank you" and sitting in my seat. Some guy with dark brown hair with pale white skin, brown eyes..tall and well..skinny stood up and introduced his name. He was and don't get me wrong, really attractive.
I signed to the interpreter
"What's his name?"
(I know ASL isn't word for word, but in this book it will, I'll explain more on the A/N before the chapter ends.)

He signs back to me lettering the name, "Dan" and signing "He's from England".
His story is that he has a brain tumor, its cancerous the doctors say but he has a good chance of living because its small and is only on one spot of the brain, the bad news is that its on the left side so he may suffer from short term memory loss. Which sucks, I mean..he sounds like a nice guy, he doesn't deserve this.
Then the interpreter signs to me
"He has a boyfriend, Phil. He helps a lot and is very supportive"
When Dan sat in his seat, Mr.Lans said the same thing to him as he said to me and went to another person in the group.

That's what my day consisted of, waking up, group therapy in the afternoon and going back home in my depressed state. Then the cycle repeats.
What a dandy life right? Well that's how it is for me.

When I walk into the kitchen in my aunts house, I pour myself a glass of Orange juice and sit on the couch, scrolling through my phone until my aunt sits next to me with a huge smile on her face,
"Guess what!" She signs, I give her a confused look onto what she wants me to guess.
"Next week, we are moving to New York!..I got a job offer from Wolfson's hospital up in Manhattan, yeah. They need someone new with lots of expierence and honey I had to take it!..
There's this really nice apartment that is 3 bedroom and 3 bath and a really nic..."
I sign to her "We can't move!, what about my friends? And the piano? My Nana's piano.."
She sighs, "we can always get a new one"
"No" i sign back to her and give her my mad face .She huffs standing up to her feet,
"Well I don't know what to tell you Blue.."
"Were moving, whether you like it or not" and with that, she turned on her heel and went up the stairs.

Can my life get any worse?

(A/N so I just want you guys to know that again, I know sign language isn't word for word..but in this book it will be because for 1. It wouldn't really make that much sense if I put it into the correct format that sign language is in and 2. I just think its better that way, also when Blue has a conversation, it'll be mostly in the format how hearing people speak.

I hope you guys like the story so far, :) please vote and give feedback!
Tysm and have a wonderful day loves! ❤).
