Whew I haven't uploaded this in awhile. Sorry about that. If anyone who is an editor or wants to be one please private message me I NEED one. Oh and anyone who wants to make covers, I don't care if you haven't even started. I just need some, you have to start somewhere.
Author’s Note; I’m going to write the first bit in a fairy tale sort of way. Tell me if I suck at it.
Locke Reeves never had a normal childhood. His father was never in the picture so he never bothered with him but his mother, a woman of great strength and beauty was his world he completely doted on her even in a young age but soon things took a turn for the worst. His mother was always a victim of multiple personality disorder.
Lola was the personality of his mother that was wild and crazy. She would decide to paint the house green one day or another yellow she dressed in extravagant clothes and went to the wildest parties. She claimed she was a wild child of the eighties and she got drugged up like one two. She treated Locke like he was her best friend. They would have a world of fun together and nothing could stop them.
Marie was the sensual French woman who had a different man coming to the door hourly, they paid for everything, the four bedroom house they lived in, the food they ate and the clothes they wear and when the bill collector cam Marie was sure to silence them. It was Marie that took Locke to his first brothel when he twelve to lose his virginity. It was a bittersweet moment for Locke, he understood the pleasure but the feeling behind it.
Beth was a small child who enjoyed to play games with Locke. They would play hide and seek forever and pretend that the world ws theirs and nothing could stop them.
Maya was the doting mother and Locke’s favorite she would tuck him into bed and give him cookies and milk when he was sick. She was the personality that attended the all of the parent teacher meeting, the head of the PTA and the mom to go for a car pool for soccer or Lacrosse.
Locke loved each of her personalities but even at a young age he knew his mom was sick but he was her little man he had to protect her no matter what but his mom wasn’t all that good. There was Joan.
Joan was the woman that gave Locke his scars, Joan was the one the abused Locke constantly, she burned him with iron, scratched him up and tortured him to the point that the little boy that was Locke Reeves left him and he became the hardened and ruthless man he is today.
He loved his mother though she was sick but she was the only one that would stand by him when the world was against him but he was wrong.
One day Joan was particularly in a bad mood and the slightest noise annoyed her and Locke had to be punished for it. Mrs. Myers across the street heard his cry of pain and called the police they came and saved Locke from his torture or so they thought. Locke fought and screamed for the return of his mother. He fought all the way never relenting in his screams for his mother.
They noticed her problems when she turned into Marie and tried to seduce her way out of there so they packed her up and sent her to a mental institution. Locke was jumped from foster home to foster home until Christa and Bart Reeves saw the broken little by and took him in. They nurtured him and cared for him but Locke was irreparable. He couldn’t stand the sight of flams or a kitchen, eh couldn’t stomach the smell or taste of oatmeal and he hated people. He became better psychologically but the scars were still there to remind him of the past he couldn’t escape.
“Mary.” I called out to my adoptive mother.
“Yes sweetheart.” I turned to the sound of her voice and saw the woman that brought him comfort when he screamed. She was a small plump lady who always smelled of cinnamon and home. At five feet she barely reached my chest but she said it was because of her cooking that he had become such a big boy, at six four.
