Cinnamon-coated powers part one

Cinnamonkit was the first to wake up that morning. She walked to her mother, Squirrelflight, and asked to play outside. Her mother said yes. Cinnamonkit ran outside. She saw a butterfly and began to chase it. She accidentally ran into an older apprentice named Lightpaw, a sandy ginger tabby she cat with green eyes. "Watch it!" Lightpaw said, growling. "I'm sorry." said Cinnamonkit, scared. " Awwwww. The poor, little kit is scared." Lightpaw said in a mocking voice. " For your information," Cinnamonkit started "My apprentice ceremony is tomorrow."

" Ohplease, you still need your dear old mother for milk. I've been an apprentice for TWO MOONS. And I'm much better than any ki-" Just then her friend, Oakpaw, a muscular Brown tabby with white spots, broke in and said "leave this kit alone. She is six moons and your eight." Lightpaw glared at her friend then walked away. "Thank you , hmmm I'm sorry I didn't get your name"said Cinnamonkit. " I'm Oakpaw." He said. "I'm cinnamonkit." She said back. "Nice to meet you. Sorry about my friend." He said. "Don't be sorry for me I feel sorry for you." Cinnamonkit said, laughing. Oakpaw laughed too. Meanwhile, Lightpaw was jealous. She likes Oakpaw, a lot. Then, that kit comes and steals him. I'm going to get him back. Apprentices are off training today and tomorrow. I have time. Meanwhile, Oakpaw and Cinnamonkit were still laughing, then Oakpaw asked "Since your going to be starting training soon, would you like a tour?" Oakpaw asked, nervously. " I have to ask my mom first. I'll be right back." Cinnamonkit answered and ran off to her mom. Lightpaw jumps out of the bushes and asks "Why are you hanging out with her? I thought I was your friend." "I can have more than one friend. Besides, she's nice 100% of the time, and you are nice only about 60% of the time." Oakpaw explained. "Your always mean to her." Oakpaw added.Lightpaw was upset,but then had an idea. "I'm coming with you." Oakpaw looked at her, irritated then agreed. Cinnamonkit came back and said " Mama said than I can go, but no further than Thunderclan territory". "Alright," said Oakpaw " let's go." Oakpaw taught her how to hunt then they broke into hunting groups. Oakpaw and Cinnamonkit were a group and Lightpaw was by herself. When Lightpaw finished, she started to spy on Oakpaw and Cinnamonkit. Cinnamonkit was about to pounce on a mouse,but Oakpaw was after the same one. They both pounced and the mouse ran away.They rolled down the hill and Oakpaw landed awkwardly on Cinnamonkit. There noses touched and they didn't move. Oakpaw kissed Cinnamonkit. They soon broke away. They both smiled. Then ran off to find Lightpaw. Lightpaw didn't tell then she saw,though she wanted to. after the apprentice ceremony for Cinnamonkit and her siblings, Cinnamonpaw and Oakpaw made her bed next to Oakpaws. they started to talk. "Hey, Cinnamonki- I mean Cinnamon PAW, do you think Lightpaw likes me?" "Yeah. I heard her in the bushes mumbling to herself." Cinnamonpaw answered. "Do you like me?" Cinnamonpaw asked. "Ummmmm......... yes. I like you a lot."Oakpaw answered, nervously. Cinnamonpaw smiled "I like you too."
