DOMMIE'S POV

I skidded my bike to a stop when I saw Jay running across his yard frantically calling Ria's name. Kicking the door open, he raced up the stairs. I saw Ria's car in the driveway that Oriana drove and my heart dropped. I searched downstairs looking for any signs of altercation but everything looked to be in place so where were they? Jay ran down the stairs as I walked back to the entryway.

Jay- "They're not here."

"Keep your head. We'll find them."

Jay- "Uce my wife and daughter... I can't bring myself to think what could be happening to them."

"I know. Keep your cool anyway. Your no good to me if your g'na fall apart."

I wasn't feeling as confident as I sounded. I knew exactly what Jay was feeling.

Jay- "My daughter..."

He couldn't seem to finish his sentence. He looked around the house as though it would tell him where the girls were.

I looked upstairs. Following the flow of the balustrade until I saw the blood at the hilt. I must of been staring at it too long when I heard Jay make a painful sound.

Jay- "Blood means there was a struggle. I can't take this anymore..."

He seriously looked like he was about to snap. The sound of tires doing a burnout before coming to a sudden stop was heard. A moment later Ryder charged through the door, his gun out.

Ryder- "What happened?!"

"The girls have been taken."

Ryder- "The boys filled me in. I'm asking what happened tonight? Jay se dammit keep it together. We'll find them."

"We've been compromised."

Ryder- "What? Who?"

"I don't know"

Ryder- "Do you know that for certain?"

"It's the only logical explanation to why everything happened tonight. The question is why."

Ryder didn't take the news well. Knowing it may have been an inside job meant one of his own set him up the night his run failed. The fury in his eyes told me he saw all the ramifications of what it meant. We were betrayed by one of our own.

Ryder- "Who is pulling the strings though.. Damn I get the right to shoot him. He targeted me first."

"You? Or me? Remember that was suppose to be me making that run but I got you to fill in."

Ryder- "You think you're the target?"

"It's a possibility. So I get to shoot him."

Jay- "No."

We both glanced at Jay who kept staring at the bloodstain.

"He attacked my business. My boys. Came into my home and touched my wife, friend and daughter. The son of a bi@#& is mine"

He looked up and the look of hardened resolve and unconcealed rage was written on his face. Ryder and I acknowledged this was Jay's right. But not if I get to him first.

"The boys?"

Ryder- "Right behind me."

The boys walked in. By the look on our faces they knew things were about to get real. Looking past there shoulders out the door I frowned.

"Where is...."

Michael- "He said he was going home. The knock on his head gave him a headache and his stab wound was severe"
