ORIANA'S POV
8 months after Dommie officially proposed, events went into overdrive. We didn't want to wait too long. The invitations were all sent out. Family and friends poured in. My love finally met my parents and managed to surprise me with how well his fa'a samoa was when he spoke with my Dad. My mother was head over heels in love with him. And his boys especially Ryder was an incorrigible scamp flirting shamelessly with all my cousins. I was sure there would be a trail of broken hearts left by Ryder. It was the week of my wedding. Everything was falling into place but something felt like it was missing. I was able to corner Jay as he was heading to the kitchen to warm up his daughters bottle.
"May I speak with you?"
Jay- "Whats up?"
"I wanted to ask about Dommies son....."
Jay- "My wife has a big mouth. She tell you everything?"
I nodded. He sighed.
"What did you wana know?"
"How old is he now?"
Jay- "He would be about Noah's age now."
"Do you know where his in laws live?"
Jay- "Ana I don't think its a good idea. But sorry I don't."
"Okay thanks."
I spotted Nathaniel out the back. I ran to intercept him.
"May I speak to you?"
Nathaniel- "Sup?"
"I hear you can track anybody if you put your all into it. Is that true?"
Nathaniel- "Maybe. Who you looking for?"
DOMMIE'S POV
I was nervous as hell. Oriana was late. Looking at my watch before glaring at the church doors, I started fidgeting with my tie. The boys lined up beside me. My best man Jay chuckled.
Jay- "Uce I feel your pain. Been there done that. Stop touching your damn tie. They'll be here soon enough."
"Idiot they're 20 minutes late."
The minister, Orianas Dad, gave me a reproachful look for my choice of language.
Jay- "Relax."
Just then the music sounded queuing the flower girls. I felt my muscles begin to relax. For a moment I was worried she had second doubts. So lost in thought I jumped when Jay nudged me to get my attention.
He whispered.
Jay- "Well I'll be.. She did it. I wondered why Ria forced me to give her the rings."
"Wha...."
I turned to the aisle and froze.
Walking down the aisle was my son. Dressed in a tux holding the rings on a cushion. He was tall. He kept his eyes on me as he walked down. He looked nervous but I wasn't sure if it was from everyone watching him carry the rings or that he was nearing me. Tears welled in my eyes from love. Oriana knew. She brought him. I saw his grandparents then entering through the side doors and taking a seat in the back. We made eye contact. They nodded with a smile. I stepped off the step and met my son as he got to the front. I smiled down not sure if he knew who I was.
"Hi"
He smiled shyly.
"Hi Daddy"
I hugged him close to me. Thankful he was here to share this with me.
We took our places. My wedding line complete as I waited for the love of my life to walk down to me next. When they played her entrance song she walked out. The sheer beauty of her took my breath away. Tears unashamedly dropped as we stared at each other. Her smile was glorious as she looked at my son. We both smiled back proudly at her.
When she was finally beside me and her Dad began the ceremony I felt like the luckiest man in the world. When she spoke her vows calling me her gentleman thug I smiled. Saying my vows I promised her I would always forever protect the keeper of my heart. My Gangsta woman for all eternal.
