Lokis pov

"Sir sir wake up sir" I felt someone shake me gently by the shoulders and my eyes started to slowly flutter open. I looked around to see I had fallen asleep on the white hospital plastic chair.
"Sir are you here for Amelia Odison" the man asked me he was wearing a long white lab coat with a suit and tie underneath.
"yes I am I'm her husband hows she doing is their any bad news?" I asked.
"Well sir if you would come with me I'll explain on the way" he said and began to walk down the corridor.
"Sir I'm afraid it is as we feared the cancer has spread she may have less time than we originally thought" the doctor said. "Oh also there's one more thing before you go in" he said raising his clipboard and putting on his glasses.
"She has a few fading bruises I was wondering how she got them?" He asked me turning to me and glaring into my eyes.
"Well doctor I can say they certinatly were not from me I can assure you" I said for some reason I felt slightly affended by his question.
"When can I see my wife?" I spat at him the anger slowly boiling within me.
"Sorry sir umm it's just that second room on the left there" the doctor pointed out the door given number 309.
"Thankyou"
I headed to the room and opened the door.
There was a nurse in the room doing stats so I had to play my part.
"Amelia! I was so worried darling"

Amelias pov

Everything was blurry nothing seemed right.
"Why... w..hy do I feel.. like this?" I asked the nurse doing my stats.
"You lost a lot of blood sweetheart you're going to feel like that for a while" she said sweetly she was an older woman with light sandy hair tied up in a bun neatly on top of her head.
Suddenly the doors burst open and loki comes rushing to my side. If only he wasn't acting.
"Amelia! I was so worried darling" he said coming right to my side and stroking my head.
"Why is she so pale?" Loki asked my nurse.
"She's fine Mr Odison it's just the blood loss that's all and she's going to be in and out of conciousness for a few days so we think it's best to keep her in until she feels strong enough to go home" the nurse answered.
"I'm just outside if you need anything" the nurse said and removed her apron and left our room.
"Hmm how do you feel?" Loki asked brushing the hair behind my ear.
"Tired" I said.
"Well you should sleep" he said quietly sitting back in his chair I chuckled and closed my eyes.
"The nurse isn't here anymore there's no need for acting" I said slowly drifting into unconciousness.

"I'm not acting anymore"

Lokis pov

"Hello I'm Dr. Trevor we met yestarday Mr. Odison" the annoying doctor said holding what I could only presume was a bag of blood.

"What's that for?" I asked Amelia had already been given one blood transfusion as they called it.
"Well Amelia lost an awful lot of blood so it's just another to make sure wouldn't want to send her home with a low blood count" he explained.

Amelias pov

I woke up to the sound of someone snoring. I was loki he had sprawled himself across the lounge chair sideways on and he looked rather comfortable actually.

I felt something dripping but I didn't know what it was until I looked under the bed and saw my nightgown and the sheets below my bottom covered in blood.

"Loki get nurse" I said and he jolted slightly.
"What's wrong!" He said looking tried "just get a nurse please it's embarrassing loki" loki nodded and went to go get a nurse.

"Is everything okay sweetheart" she said as she came in.
I looked away as loki walked in the room and she chuckled.
"Ahh us women problems" she winked and shoved loki out the room much to his detest.
Right here's a pad you go change in your bathroom and we'll change the sheets.

"Hello handsome what you doin' back " the creepy young nurse from Amelias last visit stood up against me.
"My wife is sick" I said putting an emphasis on the word wife but she came closer grabbing my arms.
"Well maybe when she's not capable of providing for your needs you can give me a call" she said slipping something into my back pocket.

I felt totally disgusted.

I took the paper out of my pocket and put it into the bin. Right time to go back in to Amelias room.
I walked back into the nurse comforting Amelia.
"Hey is she feeling better?" I asked timidly.
"Oh she's fine Mr odison don't worry just a bad stomach ache" the nice nurse replied.
"Oh okay is there anything I can do to help?" I asked I felt like a dear caught in headlights.
"Can loki come and cuddle me?" She asked the nurse who smiled.
"Of course he can he's your husband after all" she answered.
I scooted into the nurses place and Amelia lay her warm head on my chest.
"Aww such a beautiful couple" the old nurse smiled at us.
"He's wonderful isn't he" Amelia said said looking up at me and into my eyes.
The old nurse left us alone.
"I'm scared loki... I dont want to die"
