The gray she-cat ran from the wolves that where chasing her. She knew that at any time she could start her kitting, and if she stopped the wolves would get her. She almost completely forgot how she ended up like this, only remembering that she was from Shadowclan and her mate was from Thunderclan. If only she haden't made the choice, things could have been different. She could have stayed, maybe even become leader. But for now, all she could do was run. Keep running, and never return.

"Someone must have just left them here!" Morningriver exclaimed, staring wide eyed at the three mewling, hungry, kits.
The kits had been fed but only just, and Morningriver didn't have any milk to give to them, she wasn't a queen. But someone had to take care of them, even if she would have to take tiny pieces of mouse and feed the kits that way.
Picking up the kits, she headed back to Rainclan camp.
