Abroad (A Niall Horan Fanfic)

Chapter 13

The car ride to the airport was deathly silent. It's been 2 days since Katy has woken up. She stayed overnight so she could be monitored.

"Babe we are here." Niall says. I look up to see the plane. Katy's mouth forms into an O shape.

"Close your mouth you'll catch flies."Niall retorts. I can tell Katy is going to dread this flight because we are going to talk about what happened. If you catch my drift.

Katy sits down on the couch and Niall and I sit next to her. We were both scared for her well being.

Dave walks into the cockpit and taxis us put onto the runway.

We all sit in an awkward silence.

"Sooo.." Niall trails off trying to break the awkwardness but failing miserably.

"Buckle your seatbelts and get ready for takeoff." Pilot Dave says. We all buckle out seatbelts and seamlessly take off.

"You can talk to us." I say softly placing my hand on Katy's knee.

Katy sniffles,"I know it's just hard."

"I went through the same thing you did."l

Katy snorts,"yeah right."

I sigh and lift up my sleeve and showed it to her. She bites her lip and says,"I didn't know."

"I talked about it with my friends and Niall and it really helped." I say.

"Trust my talking things out will make you much more relieved." Niall pipes in. I almost forgot he was here. Oh.

Katy sighs,"I don't know where to begin."

"We want to know everything."

"So I was born-"

"Katy."

"Ok ok! It all started last year this girl named Caroline-"

I cut her off,"as in your best friend.?"

"Don't interrupt and yes that Caroline. Anyway Caroline made up this rumor that I had a crush on her boyfriend and tried to take him away from her. Which wasn't true, at all. She told the whole grade that I was a slut and whore. The whole grade turned against me because Caroline is the 'queen bee'. They started calling me worthless and the boys started hitting me."

I gasp as does Niall. Katy's voice cracks,"the worst part is, is that I started to believe them. Then the other day someone told me everyone would be better off if I died."

She breaks down into sobs. Niall clenches his fists and his face turns red. I give him a look.

"Oh Katy" I say rubbing her back as she sobs on my shoulder,"you should've told me."

"It's just hard."

"I know. I know."

After minutes of crying she sat back up.

"Is there somewhere I could rest my eyes for a couple of minutes?"

Niall nods and picks her up bridal style causing us both to giggle. He brings her into one of the bedrooms.

He walks out and sits back down next to me.

"This is all my fault." I murmur.

He snorts,"babe no it's not."

"If I was there for her things would've been different." I cry.

"Shh.... It's ok babe. She knows she can come to us when she is feeling down."

I nod and put my head on Niall's shoulder and closed my eyes.

"Pssst." I hear an annoying whisper in my ear.

"Go away." I mumble.

"We landed!" Niall and Katy shouts.

"Ergh."

"What was that?! It was like an animal noise!" Niall exclaims causing Katy to laugh and me to blush.

"Awww." Niall coos pinching my cheeks. I frown.

He bends down and pecks my lips.

"PDA!!!" Katy squeals.

We pull apart laughing and we climb into the car.

"Does this mean I get to meet the rest of the boys?" Katy asks hopefully.

"Yup!" Niall chimes.

"OH MY GOD I GET TO SEE HARRY'S CURLS IN REAL LIFE! HE'S SO HOT OH MY!"

Niall and I look at each other and burst out laughing.

Katy blushes,"err I mean cool?" This makes Niall laugh harder.

The car stops and Katy's mouth drops open.

"Wow."

Niall smirks and grabs my hand leading us in.

Katy bites her lip and seems nervous.

"WE ARE HOME!" Niall screams the minute we walk into the door.

I facepalm and Katy starts to hyperventilate.

"SKYLAAAARRRRR!!!" Eleanor screams running down the stairs engulfing me into a hug.

"Oh my god. Oh my god." I hear Katy murmur.

Eleanor pulls away,"You must be Katy!" She say pulling her into a hug.

"Y-yeah." Katy stutters.

"She's a big fan."

Eleanor laughs.

"NI NI AND SKY SKY!" I hear 4 boys scream running downstairs bringing us into one huge hug.

"Ow ow ow ow." I complain.

"Whose this?" Liam coos softly.

"That's kAty my sister. She's a really big fan."

"HI KATY!" Harry screams.

"Oh my god. Harry just said my name oh my god." She fangirls to herself. We all laugh.

"Someone's got a crush...." Perrie teases.

Katy blushes.

"How about I show you to your room?" Liam says.

Katy nods and Liam takes her hand before pulling her upstairs.

"We are going on a date tomorrow." Niall whispers into my ear.

"Oh really? What if I have plans?" I counter back at him.

"Then ill kidnap you from those plans."

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. My power went out and I so fucking hot.
