TAYLOR:

I should be going to school right now. But I'm failing almost everything, so I don't even bother to go anymore.

So instead, I decided to go surfing.

I won't be that long, the waves aren't even that big today.

But once I was in the water, I look up, and a GINORMOUS wave came over me.

I open my eyes, and I'm sinking to the bottom.

I try to move my limbs so I could swim, but I wouldn't budge. It's like, I'm paralyzed or something.

In the corner of my eye, a beautiful girl with long blonde hair appears to be swimming to me.

And really fast.

The girl grabs my face, and kisses me.

Well, I mean she probably was just putting air back into my lungs, but let's just say she kissed K?

When she pulls away, I see her face.

She had pearly blue eyes. Full pink lips. She was just, gorgeous.

She was wearing a silver shelled necklace, that was floating around the space between us.

But as I looked down, and I see her legs weren't there.

It's like it was some sort of tail or...

OH.

MY.

GOD.

After I looked down, the girl looked absolutely terrified.

She grabs my arms forces me to float back to the top.

It went blank after that.

I wake up, on the sandy part of the beach.

What just happened? I must've dreamt it all.

I push my arms on the ground so I could get up.

Something pinched my hand though.

I look under, and it was a silver shelled necklace.

So everything that just happened, was real?

A girl really did save me... But she was a mermaid?

OCEANE:

I just broke the biggest rule EVER.

I encountered a human.

Us mermaids aren't even aloud to go near the beaches and lakes humans have "Taken Over".

But I couldn't help myself. The beaches that we're not aloud to go to are beautiful.

And this boy, very handsome boy I might add, was drowning.

I couldn't just let him die.

I thought nothing of it, because he would have just thought he hallucinated it all.

But he saw my tail. By the look on his face makes me think he WILL think he hallucinated.

But to be safe, I pushed his body up to the top of the water, but that's when my life ended. He took my necklace.

Now he's going to know that I'm real.

He won't forget.

I am over.

I'm literally going to die.

I'm dead.
