The next day I wake up at 9:00 pm. I got dressed in some joggers and a baggy plaid shirt. Tess is busy babysitting for someone. So I'm stuck here all day. I look around my room, there's a bunch of band posters, lyrics, sport trophies, and clothes on the ground. I sigh and start cleaning my room.

Lunch time comes around and I just finished vaccumming. I'm laying on my bed sprawled out. I'm so bored. As if someone had answered my prayer, my phone vibrates on my nightstand. I reach out for it and look at the contact screen. Tess. I hit answer.

"About damn time you pick up." She says.

"Hello to you too." I roll my eyes even though she can't see me.

"Anyway whatcha doin'?" she asks changing the subject.

"Finished cleaning my room." I reply.

"Wow, you must have been reeeeeally bored." she replys with sarcasm.

"Shut up. Wait I thought you were babysitting? " I ask.

"Parents got home early so I'm free!" she shouts. I cringe at her shout.

"Wait do did they even pay you?" I ask confused.

"They still payed me full." she replys excitedly.

"Nice. So I'm assuming this call was to talk about Aiden." I say slowly.

"You're damn right it is. Meet you at Henry's?"

"Yeah, see you soon." We say our goodbyes and hang up. Cool now I can hang with Tess.

"Im home" my mother shouts. Momzilla is home early. Maybe she can give me a ride. I'm too lazy to walk. I walk downstairs and find her reading some newspapers on the counter.

"Heyyyyyy mom." I say with forced smile.

"You need a ride don't you?" she says without looking up. "Get ready we leave in 5." I just smile. You know me so well.

I run upstairs and pass my brothers room. I stop and retrace my steps and peek in. He was playing on the Nintendo DS. I roll my eyes and walk into my room. It's hot today. I threw off my pants and put shorts on, throw my hair in a messy bun, and wear a shirt saying 'I have nothing to wear' I apply a light layer of makeup and put on my skateboard shoes (vans) I grab my phone and some cash I always have. I almost forgot. I grabbed my neon orange beanie form my beanie rack and hop downstairs.

"Im ready!" I shout from the banester. I see my mom is walking into the garage. So I skip after her. We get in her Black Madza. It only took a few minutes to get there. I said bye to my mom and entered to restraunt.

I'm greeted my Liam.

"Dont worry I already reserved your favorite booth, I'm assuming Tessa is coming yes?" he asks. I just nod smiling.

"Cool I'll go get your drinks." he says walking off to the back.

"Thanks Liam!" I say and start walking to our most visited booth. I like it because it has a nice view and its sort of secretively hidden in the back of the place. I scoot into it looking out the window the same time Tess pulls up.

As soon she came inside i shout for her. "Tessa!" I wave, then she spots me and smiles. She walks over to me and scoots on the opposite side of me. She wiggles her eyebrows. I just roll my eyes.

"Interesting beanie you got there." she grins.

I start acting very girlish. "OMG really???" For a dramatic affect I twirl a small piece of my hair.

"Dont ever do that again." she says horrified.

"Yeah, your even creeping me out." Liam comes by with our drinks. We just laugh.

" I already have your orders down, here you go ladies." He says putting drinks on our table.

"Thank you Liam, you're the best!" Tessa says.

"I know riiiiight?" he says all sassy and flips his invisible long hair.

We crack up laughing. He returns back to work. And Tess and I just talk about plans and stuff.

"What do you want to do now?" I ask finishing my cheese crêpes.

She thinks for a moment. "Haven't thought that far yet." I simply laugh.

"We could go to the mall again oooor go to the park." she suggests.

"I thought you planned everything." I said with a smug face on.

"Today changed! I didn't plan on the parents coming early and and--.... You're just screwing with me aren't you.." she says narrowing her eyebrows at me. I just grin at her. She rolls her eyes.

Liam comes back to get our dishes. Both Tess and I pull our our wallets.

"No no. Don't worry I got it covered." he says with a smile.

"Aw thanks Liam!" we both say at the same time. I get out a five dollar bill and tuck it in his little apron.

"Just a tip." I wink at him. Tess and I start heading to the park. "Damn I should have brought my skateboard." I say with a sad face.

She rolls her eyes at me. "Another day of avoiding injuries. I say that's a good thing." she tells me as if I never knew.

"Yeah whatever." I reply.

We find a cherry blossom tree and sit under it. Cherry blossom trees are my favorite and willow trees too.

We talk about how things are going to be for sophomore year and what happened throughout these past years.

Tessa's mother came and picked her up. I wasn't far from home so I would just stay for a bit longer then walk home. We said our goodbyes and I just layed down. There was a breeze. Some petals fell and landed in my hair and all around me. I close my eyes and daydream.

"Mind if I join you?" a male voice asks. I open my eyes and meet blue eyes.

"Aiden.." I breath. I smile and motion for him to sit. I sit up and face him. I study him. He is wear a navy blue v-neck shirt with faded jeans and vans. His hair was slicked back. He look attractive. But I study his face and he looks sad.

After a few minutes of silence, I ask "You okay?" I watch him carefully.

He looks up at me and his eyes, were so full of sorrow. I wanted to hug him so bad to cheer him up but I resisted the urge to.

"Aiden, is everything alright?" my voice sounds worried.

"Would it be too much to ask for a hug? I know its a bit wierd but, its been one hell of a shitty day." he looks down not meeting my eyes.

If only Tess was here she would be freaking out. "I know something better than a hug." I say.

He looks up at me with a confused expression. "Like what?"

"This." I lean towards him and kiss his cheek. I pull away and his eyes are wide looking at me. But he has this smile, not the regular Aiden smile a actual feeling smile.

"Thanks, I needed that." he finally speaks after a few minutes.

I smile. "Better?"

"Better."
