"Violet!" my mother yells running to the door. I remained quiet waiting for the consequences for running away.
But instead of being shouted at, I felt a warm hug. I could keep my tears contained. There I was bawling in my mother's arms.
"Honey i am so so sorry. I should have never touched you. Oh baby." she says hugging me tighter.
