My mommy says I'm smarter than the average 4 year old. Yes I'm 4. Exactly one year ago today, I received my destiny. You see, I don't live in today's society like you do. I live in the world of Beneath. A Utopian Society designed to help fix the problems in other humans lives today. We moved underground. Get it "Beneath." Yes anyways, we have many rules here. We have to do certain things a certain way and only get blah blah blah.. Funny thing is, I don't go by those rules because of the destiny that I was assigned. Everyone else in my group, the other 4's and there is 30 of us as like all the other groups, wouldn't be assigned until they moved to their 14's. I am special. Wanna know why?
When I was born, I had a twin. Something they don't allow in the city of Beneath. One of the child birth rules is "No two children shall look alike". Usually they go through the system to see who stays, but that's not what happened with me and my twin sister. My unit, family, and I have a secret. When my birthmother brought me home, she brought my sister too. She brought her in a small bag and I was brought home in open. Remember this is forbidden by law. So my sister was always kept in secret. My unit promised to never tell.
My mommy said she kept my sister for a reason. When we were born, my sister and I had a connection. A mental one. As we both grew up, and I received my destiny, I found something out. My destiny was "dreamcatcher". An assignment given to the young who were the rarest types of children. Stay with me, I know your not understanding. My sister and I are considered rare. Single children are always born here in our community. My sister and I are double children. Considered twins in your society. I was the special one, the one who they decided to keep. My mom stole my sister before her bye bye ceremony and replaced her with another. No one knew but me.
I have freckles, green eyes and long, curly brown hair. She has no freckles, green eyes and short, straight brown hair. We only have hair and eye color in common. But us being 1 minute apart in birth makes us double children.
