Jayla POV:

Fashion is my life, my passion, everything to me. I have been trying to fulfill my dream as a fashion designer, but something always get in the way that I have to put it on hold. My boyfriend, Trey, been here to keep my spirits up. I really appreciate him being here for me and supporting me through it all.

Trey walks in while Jayla is on the couch watching Phat Girlz. He sits next to her and pulls her close.

T: Hey baby.

J: Hey. How was work?

T: Same, anyone called today?

J: Sadly no.

He place her legs on top of him as she has a frown on her face.

J: I just wish my dream can come true like Jasmine's.

T: It will. Just have faith and patience baby.

J: It's been four years Trey.

T: You're not dead, so there is still a chance.

Jayla laughs at his last comment.

T: Go get some rest. You need energy for your birthday tomorrow.

J: I will.

She stands up and start walking away, but Trey grabs her hand.

T: I love you.

J: I love you too.

He kiss her and smiles. She walks upstairs and get ready to go to bed.

Next Day

T: Jayla baby wake up!

He kiss her and she wakes up. She smiles.

J: I love the way you wake me up.

He smiles and grabs her hand.

T: Come on, let's take a shower.

J: I don't want to get up.

T: Fine, I'll carry you.

He picks her up bridal style and take her to the bathroom. He strips her out of her clothes and put her in the bubble bath.

T: Relax and take as long as you need. When you get out, get dressed and meet me downstairs.

He kiss her forehead and leaves.

J: Oh how I love that man.

She lays back and let relaxation take over.

Twenty-five Minutes Later

She finally gets out, gets dressed, and walk downstairs. Trey stands up and smiles.

T: You look phenomenal.

J: Thanks.

T: Come on, let's go.

J: Where we going?

T: Somewhere special.

She follows him as he gets in the car and drive across town. He stops at the mall and they walk in hand in hand.

J: Why are we at the mall?

T: It's a surprise.

J: You know I don't like surprises.

T: You will love this one.

They walk into Charlotte Russe and Jayla looks at Trey in confusion.

J: Trey what is going on?

A guy walks out and looks familiar to Jayla. 

J: That's not who I think it is.

She put her hands on her face as she recognize who the guy is.

J: Oh my gosh! It's Daniel Lawrence! THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!

T: Happy birthday baby!

D: Hello love! I heard you want to start your fashion company.

J: Yes I do. Fashion is everything to me. Oh my gosh, I'm talking to the CEO of Charlotte Russe!

D: First of all, happy birthday! And as a reward, because I seen pictures of your work, I am willing to help you start your own business.

Jayla shrieks and fans herself.

J: Are you serious?

D: Yes ma'am I am.

Jayla hugs him.

J: Thank you so much Mr. Lawrence!

She starts crying as Trey hug her.

T: Thank you Mr. Lawrence for helping her make her dream come true.

D: Thanks for sending me those pictures.

Jayla looks at Trey.

J: You sent them?

T: Happy birthday.

She hugs him.

J: Thank you Tremaine!

She kiss him as Daniel giggles.

D: Ok, we can meet five days a month. It can be within a week, random five days just as long as you tell me in advance.

J: Yes sir. I look forward to it.

D: Congratulations and happy birthday Jayla.

J: Thank you again.

He leaves and she turns to look Trey.

J: This is the best day ever. I sure have the best boyfriend ever.

T: Yes you do. That's not all though. I got something else too.

J: What else do my baby have?

He grabs her hand and they leave the place.
