Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail
It was a beautiful, sunny morning as the citizens of Magnolia started waking up and going on about with their day. They passed through many shops, restaurants, and of course, the Fairy Tail guild. It was very peaceful outside, of course, but as always, the inside of the guild was a whole different story."Natsu!" shouted a peculiar celestial mage, as she ran around in the guild looking for the pink-haired boy, "I know you burnt down my bed this morning! Give me 1200 jewels to repay it!"
"No way, Lucy!" the particular boy yelled, as he ran all around the guild, looking for a place to hide, "1200 jewels is too much! Get your own!"
"Well I wasn't the one who made my bed into a burnt biscuit!" Lucy shouted back.
As everyone watched them with amusement, one mage stood up and walked to them, breaking up the fight.
"Come on, Natsu!" exclaimed Lisanna as she pushed Natsu to Lucy, "Just give her the jewels already! After all, you did burn down her bed." She gave him her best puppy eyes as Lucy started putting her hand out for the jewels.
"Fine! You can have your stupid jewels!" declared Natsu, as he reached into his pocket and took out some jewels, mixed in with a fish, a worm, and a tiny lizard and handed it to her.
"Uh, eww! Why do you have this stuff mixed in with the jewels?!?" Lucy yelled, disgusted. "Because I've got no where else to put them!" shouted Natsu, as he went over to pick the leftover stuff out.
"Alright you two, now quit fighting. Lucy, you have your jewels, and Natsu, you don't owe Lucy stuff anymore." Lisanna said, scaring them, as they had forgotten that she had been there all along.
"Fine," they both said, as Lucy went to the bar to drink water and Natsu went with Lisanna.
Sigh.... As always, he listens to Lisanna and goes with her. He definitely likes her, thought Lucy, as she started staring at the white-haired mage, who was currently laughing at something Natsu had said. Lucy had always known Natsu liked Lisanna. I mean, why else would he follow her and not me? she thought.
Lucy definitely didn't have a grudge against the animal-soul mage. After all, she was nice and caring, just like her sister, and if Natsu liked her, then that was that. She had already decided to put off her feelings for him long ago for Lisanna, and she would have to keep doing it for, oh, maybe twenty more years?
After all, it can't be that hard keeping secrets from one of your best friends, right?
