Birthday Crisis

"HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAAAAAAY" Yani screamed.

"Girl calm down" I said rollig over and covering my face.

"Nuh uh get ya ass up, mama wanna see you before she goes to work" She said pulling the covers completely off me and on the chair in the corner. 

"Yani" I moaned.

She laughed and helped me up from my bed.

"Gosh Yani ya'll better have a good reason for why I'm getting out of bed early on my damn birthday"

We rushed down stairs having me in awe, I seen a big ass breakfast and hella presents and nana and my fav cousin Kira.

"OMG" I screamed running up to nana and kira.

"How ya'll get here?" I asked still in awe.

"We couldn't miss my grand babies birthday could we?"

I was so happy but sad that other family members couldn't come round.

"What's wrong?" Mum asked.

"What about the rest of the family"

Everyone just remained quiet so I just let it go.

"Well I'm hungry, I will open my presents when you get home from work" I told mama.

"Well I'm off early for you day I just have to check a couple things and I should be home back in 2hrs" 

"Okay" I said smiling.

We all aid bye then sat in the kitchen eating and gossiping.

"So...where's that little boy you used to run round with"

Yani started choking on her orange juice.

"We don't talk no more nana" I said.

Kira raised an eyebrow so I motioned her to follow me upstairs.

"What happened with you and Aden?"

We sat on my bed and I explained from top to bottom about what's happened.

"Ah shit, Paris fake af man I thought she was genuine"

"So did I" I said sighing. "But it's my birthday and all I want to do is turn up" I said jumping on my bed.

"Man, I can't believe you spent that much guap on another watch and a necklace like she gonna accept it or something" Adrian said.

"Well she's not gonna know who it's from" I said wrapping it up. 

"Well she will" He said shaking his head. "All you lot need to sit down and talking it out like real niggas do" He said.

"Well its easier said than done, she stubborn"

"Just like Yani" He said chuckling.

"That's it..." I said smiling.

"What?"

"Yani...Yani can help me"

He shrugged.

"You can try...but I know Lani is a tough nut to crack and the fact you got Paris on ya'll side makes it 10x worst" He said seriously.

"Man bro have faith in me please" I said loosing hope.

"Iyte well at her party good luck" he said.

"You gonna be there to watch"

He laughed nodding.
