Paul and Maggie stopped.

They undid their seatbelts, and got out.

"David and his girlfriend were in Texas hitchhiking. They also travelled around Montana. If they met foul play, I would've heard about it", Maggie found a side entrance to the lab. Water gleamed from the facility; the gates protected outsiders from going too far inside.

But, to their shock, no one was around.

"Maybe they went to underground", Maggie said. "No, I think something happened. No ex-Military facility leaves a place like this abandoned...Unless, something happened", Paul Grogan opened the steel door, and let Maggie in.

The air was warm.

Paul saw creepy monsters in glasses. They were hybrids. Or, to the point, genetic mutations from the 1950's, and early 1960's.

"What was the US Government doing?", Maggie asked. "Fighting the Vietcong. But these creatures is like out of a science fiction and horror movie", Paul Grogan shuddered. Nearby, one of the creatures walked along the lab table. Its eyes focused on the humans; its long tail swished. "Jesus!". Maggie said.

Then she saw a tube. She pressed it with her right hand.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!", a man suddenly burst towards them, "...They'll get loose! They'll get in the river system!", Doctor Robert Hoak said.

Maggie fought him. "GET OFF ME!", she yelled. Paul Grogan punched him in the face. The Doctor fell onto the ground.

And, in the ensuing struggle, the deadly, flesh eating piranhas swam into the cold, freezing waters of Lost River Lake, and their reign of terror had had begun.
