"I swear, I have the best hearing in the world" I groaned rolling over checking my phone for the time.

Where's Dylan? He's gotta be up already. But this was not the room I slept in last night so I don't know exactly what is going on.

"Cam, I had another bad dream" Angel whispered clutching her white blankets

I looked across the room down my body and noticed the little blonde blue-eyed nine year old sitting up in her bed.

"Awe, sweetie. What was it? Those erasers again?" I asked hugging her I was sitting next to her in a black tank-top and yellow shorts. I pushed away the fact that I woke up somewhere other than where I went to sleep.

She nodded slowly trying to make the covers puffy again.

"It was just a dream, it's gone now. Don't worry" I promised "Well, I guess I better get downstairs and start breakfast before Max does because we all know she can't cook"

She laughed pulling a pink t-shirt with a cat on the front over her head with a blue pair of black leggings. "Can I bring those barbies?" She asked whispering as we walked down the hall being the far room from the stairs.

I nodded just as the boys all came out of their rooms wide eyed ready for breakfast looking as if they haven't eaten in days. Which, was true.. Although we ate like the rich yesterday.

"Well, since you are awake you can go take Total out" Angel smiled handing Fang his leash, by the way this was a vacation home in mackinaw MI and it wasn't ours. But it was fully stocked with food and had indoor plumbing. So it will have to do.

"I'm gonna go wake up Nudge, I'll be down there in a minute, pack all the things you have but pack light. We move out soon" I said already walking back into the room we shared.

Angel nodded and turned to the stairs I watched her blonde curls bounce as she made her way down the stairs.

"Nudge, it's another day. Come on sweetie, up and at 'em" I smiled pulling the covers off of her. She groaned and reached for them pulling them back over her shoulders.

"Aren't you cold?" She asked snapping open one eye, noticing that I only had on shorts and a tank-top,

I shook my head and grabbed her by the hand pulling her out of bed.

"Stop! Your gonna wake up Max!" She mumbled pushing herself out of bed.

"No, she's already up. I can smell something burning" I sighed throwing her a Metallica T-shirt I found in the drawer of the small dresser. "I'll be downstairs. Don't get back in bed were heading out today, gotta keep moving"

I felt like a broken record. But to get it through their heads. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

She nodded and watched me walk downstairs.

"Let me take care of that Hun" I smiled bumping Max out of the way of the pantry saving us from an expired can of beans.

"God. This is soo not me" Nudge sighed taking a seat next to Iggy

The 7 of them laughed. Then there's me where I just slightly stepped out of the way of Max's hand trying to strangle me.

Max gave me that look like 'screw you'

I smiled hiding my laughter and continued throwing good food into a large blue north face backpack.

"Max, where's Jeb?" Nudge asked stabbing a piece of pancake on her plate.

Where has he been lately? He was like a father to me, how the hell can you just leave your family and not have any worries about where they are or how they are? I mean- once again he just left me somewhere, that's some father.
