I stretched as I awakened on the couch, with Jude wrapped around me. She was still sound asleep as I gently picked her up as I stood up to go take her to our bedroom. "God.. You're such a heavy sleeper.." I said quietly laying her on the bed.

I got my work attire on, grabbed my book and set off for the day ahead.

"So you're 16, Eric..?" I said looking at this young man in front of me up and down, then sighed. "You know, high school is only a small bit of your life son. Bullies are just assholes the may have stuck with you since you were in kindergarten or grade school, but suicide isn't the answer.." he then grabbed onto my suit's collar and pulled me slightly down so that my face was close to his. I noticed he had tears streaming down his face and he was shaking. "P...Please sir.. My mom d-doesn't even know I've hung myself yet.. I think she's coming home soon... Let me have a second chance." He then let go of my collar and slowly slipped to the floor.

He practically started screaming for me to let him have a second chance at living. He wanted to talk to ex-girlfriend Leslie and tell her he's sorry and wants her back, he wanted to tell his mom he wanted to exchange schools, he wanted to see his brothers and sister again and hug them so tightly that they couldn't breathe anymore. I got down on my knees and lifted his head up, "You promise that you wont try anything as stupid as this again Eric..?" He nodded and hugged me tightly.

God im going to get so much crap from my dad when he finds out about this...

That night I went back and I saw Eric talking with his mom about changing schools, and later after he Skyped his brothers and had his sister right next to him.

The next morning I took Jude out for a walk in the park by our home and during that time, I saw eric with his ex, or should I say, girlfriend spreading love all around in the air. I just hope I wont see that kid till hes in his 70's or something..

Six months later.

"Hey Jude~ Don't make it bad, take a sad song to make it better~ Rememb-" before I could finish singing that line in Jude's favorite song, she kissed me to shut me up because the song made her blush. I lightly pulled away from her and smiled, bushing her curly brown hair out of her face. "You're really pretty when your hair's out of your face, you know that?" She blushed and looked away, "I know.. But you know I don't like how I look.. Anyways Leon, I have to tell you something." I lifted her up and set her on the couch. "What is it..?" I gently grabbed her hand and squeezed it. "You know how we've been trying to get a kid for like, forever..?" I nodded and smiled, "Are you even.. Do you even fucking know if this is the real thing Jude..?! What if it was like last time and it was just a false alarm.. We didn't even go to the damn doctors to see if it was legit."

She then grabbed me by my shoulders and shook me slightly, "The other day when I told you I had to run errands, I got a pregnancy test.. It showed up positive, and I have a appointment scheduled with my doctor to see if its the real deal, if its not just going to end up like the last time." She removed her hands from my shoulders and placed them on her stomach, rubbing it in circles. "I know it has to be true... I know it does.." I sighed and smiled weakly and kissed her cheek. "Can I at least come with you when you see your doctor?.."  she nodded,"Yes.. please do so."
