1/26/2020 update::New pic cause he looked 12 in the last one ;)

While Kenzie and Zander went off to play with the other kids me and the other adults were laughing about old times we had.

Griffin went off with his buddies a while ago so it was just us girls.

"So Scarlett how have you been these past years?" One asked.

"Oh I've been gr-" I stopped when I smelt that powerful smell I never wanted to smell again. My smile fell and I turned around to see Julian walking in. I was frozen staring at him.

"Shit. Come on Scar, you have to get out of here." Tilly said shaking my shoulders. But it was to late.

He lifted his nose in the air and turned his head in my direction. Those grey eyes met mine and I noticed his sandy blonde hair had darkened.

My ears picked up his growl and he started stalking over here. That's when I bolted. That's when I knew I couldn't stay here for Kenzie to have her birthday here.

I ran inside and up the stairs. I ran into the room's our bags were and put everything we had out away.

"Scarlett what are you doing?" I heard my mom ask. I didn't turn around when I answered.

"I have to get me and Kenzie out of here. He's here mom." She gasped.

"I'll get Sam to get his wolfs to get him off our land."

"No mom. He's seen me. When he see's Kenzie he's gonna know. Especially when I pick her up and run with her. She look's so much like him."

"Scarlett you can't let your daughter down....I know how that feel's and I'm not letting you make that mistake. Your staying here."

My mom pushed me out of my room and out of the house making me run into a hard chest causing sparks to erupt.

"I found you." He breathed out and held me to him.

"Get off of me!" I said struggling to get out of his grip.

"No your mine. I'm not le-Ow!! Shit!!" He released me and turned around looking down at Kenzie. My eyes went wide. "You little shit don't kick me!"

"Don't hurt my mommy! When she tells you something you do it!"

"I wasn't hurting your mommy! I wouldn't want to know your mom. She sounds like a horrible mom if your acting like this."

Kenzie let out a little growl before repeatedly kicking him in his shin. I grabbed her arm and picked her up holding her close to me.

When Julian turned around he looked at my eyes then at Kenzie's. Mine, her's, mine, her's and then a growl came up in his throat.

"I want the truth Scarlett." He said with a clenched jaw.

Tilly came up to me and took Kenzie from me. I went to walk inside but he wouldn't let me. "Now Scarlett."

"She's your daughter." I said looking into his eyes which were slowly turning black. After I was finished he growled and his eyes were fully black now.

"YOU KEPT MY DAUGHTER FROM ME!? HOW COULD YOU!? YOU HAD NO FUCKING RIGHT TO KEEP HER FROM ME AND YOU KNOW IT! I'M BEYOND PISSED AT YOU RIGHT NOW!"

At this point I went into full momma bear mode.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW JULIAN!! YOU REJECTED ME WHEN I WOKE UP!! YOU LOOKED AT ME WITH HATE AND NO REGRET! YOU DIDN'T HAVE A REASON TO REJECT ME YET YOU DID! 1 WEEK LATER YOU SMIRKED AT ME WITH NO REGRET! YOU HATED ME AND YOU WANTED ME TO TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR DAUGHTER!? SO WHAT?! YOU COULD REJECT HER JUST LIKE YOU DID TO ME!? I LEFT BECAUSE OF YOU! I LEFT BECAUSE YOU MADE ME FEEL LIKE NOBODY WANTED ME! YOU MADE ME THINK MY OWN DAUGHTER WOULD HATE ME WHEN SHE GREW UP! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE MAD AT ME!"

My eyes were black now but Julian's were full of regret and black to those grey eyes. I turned to Tilly who gave me McKenzie.

"Mommy are you okay?" Kenzie said putting a hand on my cheek. I calmed down and smiled at her. I gave her a nod and stepped into the house to come face to face with my mom.

"Scarlett I-"

"Stop it mom. You invited him didn't you?" She looked down. "Wow. What did you think we were gonna fall in love the moment we seen each other again? News flash mom he rejected me. He lost me just like you just lost me too."

I didn't want to be in this house anymore. Not right now. "I-I'm sorry Scarlett pl-" I just shook my head at her.

I turned back around and walked back outside to see Julian was no longer standing there but had taken a seat at one of the tables.

"Mommy can I go play..." I nodded and set her down. I walked back over to Tilly.

We talked more and more and I was so distracted right now. Julian was mad at me which he had no right to be. My mom set it up. But I seen Julian today and I'm pretty sure Kenzie knows who her dad is now.

But I should have been watching her like a good parent. The moment I heard her scream looked to see a wolf lunging out of the woods at her.

I got up and ran as fast as I could trying to get her away in time but I was to late. The rogues jaw clamped down on her side and they fell to the ground.

The wolf let go of her side and went to tear her neck open but I shifted and attacked him. We both tumbled into the woods out of sight of anyone.

We just kept getting deeper.
