~Chapter 27~

Harley

"Hey Matt?" I yelled down the hall, "ya babe?" He yelled back, "I'm gonna go to Emily's cabin and see how she's doing, ok?" I said as he walked into the room, "ya sure just don't be gone for to long" he said and kissed me on the cheek. I was walking over to the cabin when Emily ran out to me with tears in her eyes, she was smiling though. Happy tears? "I'm pregnant!!" She yelled, "What!!!! I'm so happy for you!!" I said as we jumped up and down, "have you told Shawn?" I asked, "Shawn" she said, she ran off down the hill and talked to him. I could see his face light up. He picked her up and spun her in circles, I gave out a small laugh. Then someone snaked their arms around, I turned and saw Matt. "I wanna go to sleep" I groaned, "it's been a long day" I said. Before I knew it Matt picked me up bridal style and carried me back into the cottage and laid me down in the bed. "Thanks" I whispered as he laid down beside me. Then I felt my self slowly drifting to sleep.

I woke up around 6 with Matts arm still over my side. I got up carefully and removed his arm from me, I went and checked on April who was still sleeping, she looked like her dad, I walked into the kitchen to start making supper and Hayes had already started, "want some help?" I asked, "sure" he said without even looking at me, "are you ok?" I asked, "no, Alexa's getting worse" he said losing a single tear, "That's it?" I asked "She's pregnant" he said, my face dropped. Alexa has bone cancer and is pregnant, "congrats?" I questioned saying. Nash walked in and I told him, he walked over to Hayes and hugged him. "I'll take Alexa to kemo today" I offered, Hayes nodded. I walked into Alexa's room and told her it was time to go, she got up and sighed. Today is her last day of kemo. She would either be cancer free or cancer collected. "Let's get this over with" she said. It was a silent drive to the hospital, "you'll make it" I said, she sighed. We eventually got there, we walked in and asked for her doctor. We were immediately taken to a room and the doctor came in and took Alexa with him. After awhile they came back, "well Mrs.Grier, your definitely pregnant, and your also cancer free" I smiled and she looked up at me, also smiling. We thanked the doctor and left. The car ride home was happier than before but it wasn't silent.

Emily
After Alexa and Harley got back we got the good news and decided to have a party. I really needed to check something, so I went to the bathroom and saw my stick that I had used earlier. "Omg I totally forgot about it" I was so nervous when I saw the stick. "I'm pregnant", I ran out of the bathroom and up to Shawn. "IM PREGNANT!!!!!!" I am so excited Aubrey and Skylar will be big sisters to their brother or sister. "Wait, really?" Shawn asked, "YES!!", "I'm gonna have another kid!" Shawn said while running down the hill to tell everyone else. I walked into the girls room that they share with Lexi. "Hi girls, mommy needs to tell you something" I said as they crawled over to me. I sat down and put both of my girls on my lap. "Aubrey, Skylar, you're going to be big sisters!" I exclaimed, Aubrey clapped and laughed, while Skylar smiled like an idiot, just like her dad. I walked out and everyone came up to me and gave me there congratulations and other stuff. "Maybe they'll be born on the same day" I turned Alexa was looking at me, "ya maybe" I said. It was pretty late so I put the girls to bed as the other guys did too. Then we sat by the campfire and enjoyed our night.
