regaining consciousness you take a large inhale of air in doing so almost choke yourself. Your body adjusting to its harsh surroundings the first thing you realize is how scared you are adrenaline rushing through your body like a roaring storm you attempt to stand and realize whatever your restrained in is moving at overwhelming speed, surrounded by darkness your instincts told you to run, get out, do something. You scrambled towards a metal weird wall and tried to thrash it open with your fist until pangs of pain rushed through your knuckles while doing so so now it was time for plan b you grabbed a box like object and began hitting it against the metal resulting in a terrible sound, an alarm you thought or a warning did you break something. scared out of your mind and shaken by the alarming noise you screamed for help at the top of your lungs enough to make your throat feel dry and tired "HELP ME!". Out of nowhere a blinding light pushed you back against the metal box. squinting you tried to see where you were and who those voices where it all sounded like mumbles but the odd comment didn't go ignored "another girl thank God" a voice much more feminine, you looked up at who it belonged to before you could memorize her face she made herself present in the box of metal "hey ...are you okay.." her eyes were blue and beautiful, raven like hair framed her face "will you hurry up" an abrupt interruption from a tall boy with dirty blonde hair and a disturbing expression on his face "shut your hole gally" said the girl seemingly annoyed. she's defending me who is she."what's going on where am I" you demanded strongly realizing you couldn't remember anything you were going to take charge to find out did these people put me hear, did they do this to me do they know who I am millions of question arose "why can't I remember, if you did this too me.." she cut you off "it's okay we're not going to hurt you, none of us can remember anything, were all like you. don't worry it's going to be fine." she talked as if you were meant to just trust her just like that, but it's not like you had any other option when you got out the box you realized how many other people were here all of them boys "my names Teresa ,that's newt and .." "MINHO" you heard someone shouting behind you, you turned quickly* is he calling me is that my name* a dark skinned boy stood before you he was tall and looked slender yet muscular. you thought he was calling you but his eyes were set on someone else "MINHO your not getting out of this one... get you stupid little but here.. Now" when you could finally see who he was calling you noticed that this boy had a confident stride he was of asian ethnicity, his built arms exposed by the faded shirt he wore. "every two seconds all I hear is minho do this, minho do that god kinda busy trying not to die here people" the tone in his voice made you believe he was joking but he wasn't was he? "you see that dark skinned boy that's alby he's the leader he'll be round to talk to you and what not" she told you "who's he ?" you pointed, this amused her "I'm sorry you sound just like newt" she said "newt?" you questioned "yeah the blonde guy , he's got the same accent as you, personally I think it's pretty cute but hilarious at the same time" that's when you noticed you were different to Teresa you spoke differently you looked different *what do I look like?* remembering your features, you have grey eyes and olive skin and extremely long dark hair that reached your hips. lost in thought you weren't aware the boy was standing right in front of you "greenie to glade, um hello anyone there" he waved his hand in front of your face "oh and this is minho .. who I believe will be your tour guide and teacher for the day"she said before strutting away *well that's great she's leaving me* you thought "what about you" you asked "a girls got jobs to do round hear don't worry ill come see you at the end of the day.. till then you have rules to learn, names to discover, minho to annoy" she said looking back at you, that makes you wonder "are you the minho" you ask stupidly. "urrrgggghhhh.. obviously" he extended the groan while walking the opposite direction "keep up greenie" you followed. you walked up to a wall that made you turn to see another stone cold dark grey ivy covered wall "whaaattt theee fuck" confusion flooding once again. your comment made him turn around "what the actual fuck" you looked at him square in the eye demanding a response "oh my God you sound just like newt" he replied not taking into account your utter confusion and terror "noo, what the hell is this place" you said more boldly directing him this time "calm down you little shank" he said getting petty "why don't you tell where I am" you yelled for answers "I will if you stop acting like you the queen of the shucking castle" your attention turned to his sassy comment "what's that supposed to mean" you shouted drawing attention to yourself " it means your being a little well how do I put this.. bitch" *what a jerk* you pushed him back and started walking back towards where you saw Teresa head off to, hoping you could find her "greenie get your ass back here" you heard him say quickly. He was coming after you so you tried to walk quicker but the sudden grip on your lower arm stopped you in your tracks "another word from you and your going in the pit" he said dragging you in the opposite direction towards a colossal selection of trees "are you going to kill me and bury in the woods so no one will find out" you asked sarcastically "keep talking and I just might" he looked back at you. he dragged you through the dim lit almost dark forest halting before a wooden shack, standing in a patch of dried mud and moss "is that your house" you asked "what the shuck do you take me for, no this isn't my house, God tourists" he reply in a tasteful tone *this one has a lot to say* "then what is it" "why don't you just shut up a second" he said leading you inside. When the door swung open your eyes flew to the structure laying as the centerpiece. your mind put the puzzle pieces together *this is a maze it's got to be* "is that where we are, were in a maze aren't we"you said quickly, you jolted forward pointing at the bundle of green in the middle. purposely ignoring you he pulled out a chair rolling his eyes "now listen to me, this place is like a prison, we don't know who put us hear or why, you see those doors they close every night and for a good reason to, out there in the maze there are grievers....." you sat there listening to everything minho had to say, taking it all in trying to understand what the hell was going on at the end of it all you felt like someone had shot you in the throat *Why? why would someone do that.* "hey are you alright" he asked noticing the expression printed on your face. You couldn't bring yourself to say anything "ehhm ..uhhh so hh" trying to hold back the tears *I'm trapped here, I don't even remember who I am, how can this happen* "because you look like your going to cry" he pointed out causing you to rush outside. the air was cold ,it was exactly what you needed it helped you take in all this commotion and set a plan for yourself *I'm going to stay here until I can find a way out and after that I'm going to beat the shit out of the people who put me here* you promised yourself. hearing the footsteps behind you, you sighed and sucked up all your feelings *you can't look weak and be brave* you told yourself you weren't one to show vulnerability however vulnerable you actually were. He looked at you for a second trying to read you but he said nothing, silence fell like a heavy blanket before he said something "that's it greenie just take as it comes at you" *greenie?* that word made no sense to you and why was he calling you that "my names not greenie" you turned to him "oh yeah, what's your name then?" he teased " its ..its" you thought hard squinting your eyes shut "alright don't hurt yourself" he rolled his eyes making you huff "come on, you need to get to know everyone" he started walking in front of you but turned around to hold out his hand for you to take you looked at him weird (an are you serious kind of look) but you took it anyway beginig to trust him "you need to learn to just chill the shuck out" minho said walking you towards the glade you laughed for the first time and in that moment of happines your brain clicked an you remember your name "y/n!!!" You shouted with s huge grin on your face " i can't believe i remember!" He chuckled "welcome to the glade y/n"
