Chapter 11

Vanessa's POV

So today's the day of homecoming. I woke up tired but was happy that it was a half day and the last day before winter break. So I was pretty excited. After me and Tyler decided that we would give us a try we have basically been inseparable. But I am waiting for him to actually ask me to make it officially. He told Jake that he wants it to be special because he said that I deserve that best. Which I disagree with because I'm fine with him just asking me normally. But Tyler has to make it special.

Tyler has not been a happy camper because I told him that I was still going to homecoming with Jack. I thought that it would be really rude if I just ditched Jack and went with Tyler. I can't do that to Jack because he's my friend. And now Tyler refuses to go because him being the stubborn person he is, he would do that. I've been trying to convince him to come but he won't.

As I finally decided to get out of bed I walked into my bathroom and turned on the shower, because I could really go for a nice hot shower. Just before I was about to go in the shower my phone started ringing. I looked to see Tyler's name on the screen. I quickly answered.

"Hello." I said as I picked up my phone.

"Hey babe. I was wondering if I could come pick you up for school so we could go together." He said.

"Yeah sure, but are you sure you want everyone looking at us." I said nervously.

"And why would that stop me, I'm not embarrassed to be around the most beautiful girl that I lay my eyes on." He said and I could tell he was smiling through the phone.

"Oh okay well then sure." I said while smiling.

" babe this is killing me, were you about to hope in the shower because I hear the water running." He said.

"Well yes I was but that isn't any of you business, now is it." I said while laughing and hanging up.

After I hung up I hoped in the shower and washed my hair with my favorite strawberry shampoo and conditioner. And I washed my body with the matching strawberry body wash.

Once I was done I hoped out of the shower and grabbed my big fluffy towel. And grabbed a small pink one to draw my hair with.

Once I wrapped the oversized towel around my body I grabbed my phone and I went to open the door to enter my room when I heard a noise, which I just figured it was my mom. But I was wrong. It was Tyler casually sitting on my bed.

"Um excuse, what are you doing here." I said nervously realizing that I was just in a towel, thankful that I was my big towel.

"Here to take you to school, oh am I early I didn't notice." He smirked. I knew exactly why he came early.

"Well I guess just wait here I'm going to get dressed." I said.

"Why not just change here." He smirked again.

"Don't be stupid now." I said while laughing.

I quickly walked over to my closet and grabbed my undergarments, a gray sweater and a pair of black leggings. And quickly walked over to my bathroom to change.

Before I started getting dressed I started drying my hair with my towel, and left it just damp. I changed into my outfit pretty quickly. I brushed all of the knots out of my brown hair and started applying my natural makeup. Which didn't take long. I only took about 20 minutes.
