Vanessa's POV

Just in the middle of my wonderful dream, of course I'm woken up by my loud alarm clock. After hitting snooze about a million times I finally decided to get up and get ready for the first day of hell (aka school).

I'm starting my junior year and I couldn't be more excited ( note the sarcasm) after looking through my huge closet I finally picked out a cute outfit.

I decided to wear a lace black crop top with a white skirt. Also I thought why not put my feet through torture for the day and put on a simple black pair of heals, and I threw on a hat. I was pretty proud of my outfit today. The first day of school was the only exception to dressing cute. The rest of the days you could find me in leggings and a tee.

After getting dressed I quickly curled my long brown hair and did a simple makeup look.

When I was finally done I ran downstairs to be greeted by my mom.

"Good morning sweetie, excited for school?" My mom said.
"Morning ma and I'm trilled." I replied, walking over to her and kissing her a kiss on the check.
"Well I have to say my baby looks so beautiful and all grown up." Complimented my mom.
"Thanks mom I kinda tried today. Don't get used to it." I joked.

Just as I was about to open the door of our house to leave my annoying twin brother Jake. He runs down the stairs calling my name. "Vanessa..... Vanessa wait uppppp!!" Yelled Jake.

"Can i please have a ride to school I'm running late?" Jake begged.
"Yeah I guess, just don't annoy me" I replied.
"Never would I annoy my favorite sister would I?" Said Jake.
"One u always annoy me and two I'm your only sister you idiot."

"Bye mom see u later love u." We both yelled.
"Love u both very much see u tonight have fun at school." Mom yelled back.
We both just laughed because schools sucks.

My brother and I are very different. He was the captain of the football team and a total player when it came to girls. He hangs out with all the jocks.

Me on the other hand would rather just hang out with Claire all day and watch Sports. I'm not the typical girly girl I liked to watch my football and hockey.

When it comes to boys I've only ever had one boy friend. And that was Mason. He cheated on me. We don't really bring him up a lot. We all hate him, obviously.
Of course Jake fought him after he found out he cheated on me. So thanks to Mason I won't let myself get close to another guy and trust them like I trusted him.

The car ride to school was pretty quiet. I think we were both just dreading going back to school.

Every once and a while Jake would ask me if I saw the jets games yesterday.

When we arrived at school I parked my beautiful blue mustang in the parking lot. As I got out of the car Jake gave me a hug and said thanks and then ran off to all of his friends. Because God forbid me and him walk into school together.

When I saw Claire standing by the front I ran over to her and hugged her.

"God Claire I missed u so much." I said as I squeezed her in a hug.
" I know it feels like it's been forever since we're seen eachother." Claire said .
But It has only been a month since the last time we have seen each other we were both really busy lately.

After we hugged like a hundred more times we finally walked into school. I felt eyes on me when I walked into school.

Everyone was whispering about me being cheated on. Things like "thank god mason and her broke up I was done feeling sorry for her."

Claire just grabbed my hand and told me to ignore the jealous cheerleaders.

We finally got to our lockers but not before someone caught my eye.
And there he was standing against the locker Mason jerk Smith.

I quickly walked away and went to my first class which was chemistry.

As soon as I got there I sat down.
Then the bell rang starting first period.

Just as the bell rung someone walks into class. And let me tell u he was the hottest and sexiest boy I've ever seen, I guess he's the new kid.

Just my luck he sits in the seat next to me. 5 minutes later he smiles and winks at me. Then taps my shoulder. "Excuse me beautiful but do u have a pencil that I can borrow?" The stranger asked.
"Yes here I'm Vanessa nice to meet you."
"Hi Vanessa what I beautiful name for a even more beautiful girl, I'm Tyler Parker." He replied with a wink.

I almost had a heart attack when he called me beautiful.
