Robert Clarke spent the night watching television. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Jane’s beach house only had one television in it. It was a small, light brown thing that would have been top of the range in the 1950’s. Rob was amazed it still worked.
The bored twelve year old boy watched the black and white screen for as long as he could before falling asleep.
Rob’s snores echoed in the kitchen and his drool wetted the arm of the chair he slept upon.
Even in his sleep Rob waited for his grandmother’s return. He dreamt about the previous night and replayed the conversation he and his grandmother had had.
Unfortunately, for Robert Clarke, Nana Spence would not be returning to the small beach house. Instead Robert would be visited by a very unusual stranger...
