It was not until the early hours of the morning that Robert Clarke woke. As he sat up upon the sandy beach Rob noticed a haggard fisherman asleep next to him.

The man wore a large, brown trench coat and had matted brown hair. His wild, tangled beard was pale green and looked like it was made of moss. His hands were encrusted with large emerald stones and his eyebrows looked like they were sculptured diamonds. He was the strangest looking person Rob had ever seen.

Robert Clarke knew the man had rescued him last night and wondered if the fisherman was alright and so decided to poke him several times in the face to see if the man was still alive. The man groaned and grumpily stirred from his deep sleep.

Rob jumped to his feet and a wave of pain ran through his body. He looked down and grimaced; his leg was somehow burnt. The skin on his left leg had turned jet black. Robert hobbled along the beach and waited on top of the grassy bank.

He watched the fisherman for a few minutes, making sure that his rescuer was okay before making his way back to the beach house.
