The Doctor looked at Jason like he was trying to hold himself together . He took a deep breath, trying to control his emotions. "I will find a way," he said. "I promise. Your Mum and Dad won't lose another child! Not while I'm here."
Jason looked at him with more tears in his young green eyes. "Don't give false hope, old man," he said. "It will only hurt them more. Especially my Mum."
"I'm not giving false hope," the older man said. He had known how much Jason's family and friends loved him. Especially his mother. Sherlock and his wife would never forgive him if he didn't try to help their child.
