Third Person Narrative

When Alexa and Roy woke up it was still pouring rain, and as they moved down stairs for breakfast a clap of thunder shook the house.

"That is one hell of a storm." Said Roy.

"Well where I grew up was like this." Said Rex, there father.

"Dad? What are you doing home?" Asked Alexa.

"I got the day off." He replied.

"Right, there is that reunion thing." Said Alexa.

"Yes, I would like you go home as early as possible." Said Ash.

"Alright mom." Said Alexa grabbing her backpack.

"I can drive you." Said Rex.

"Oh no need the bus is here." Said Alexa grabbing Roy's arm and pulling him out the door.

Ash sighed as she sat down, and Rex looked at her and said "OK what's wrong?"

"I just feel we should have told them about us." She said.

"Hey. All of us made the decision that we need to move to a world without powers or any ability's and the others agreed that it was a good choice. They made there decided and we made ours." He said taking her hand.

"I know but I am getting a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach.... And no I'm not pregnant again." Ash said standing and threw a dish towel at him.

At school the day was moving slowly, but then finally the last period came. Roy sat in his desk and was bored out of his mind, he very quickly took out his phone.

"What are you doing?" Whispered Alexa.

"Playing Candy Crush." He whispered back.

"We are in school! Put that away before we get into trouble." She whispered back urgently.

"Ms. & Mr. Wolf? I want to see you after school today." Said Miss. Willis.

"But we can't our family is having a..." Started Alexa but Miss. Willis cut her off by saying "I do not care. You are to see me after the final Bell." Then with that she continued with the lesson.

After school that day Alexa sat in her chair hunched over glaring at her brother.

"What?" He asked.

"Why did you have to do that?" Alexa asked.

"You mean take out my phone? I was bored." He replied.

"Mom and Dad are suspecting us to be home in ten minutes. If we are not there they are going to freak." She said. Then the door opened and Miss. Willis came in and shut the door behind her. Then she grabbed the door knob and in her hand she squeezed it into a ball. Alexa and Roy both stood up.

"What in the world. Ms. Willis?" Said Alexa. The teacher titled her head to one side and then there was a loud crack. Huge wings burst out from behind the teacher, and her nails became long claws. Her hair fell out of the the bun and her glasses fell off. A low growl came from the bottom of her throat. Then her eyes became a surprising light yellow color.

Just then the window shattered and a young woman jumped in. She had light brown hair that fell to her shoulders and light drown eyes, she had on a dark blue jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and brown boots. She also had a bag across one of her shoulders.

"If you want to live jump out the window." She said in a strong British accent.

"What?" Asked Alexa. Then the creature moved forward for an attack. Then the girl pulled out a gun and started firing at the monster. The shot at the creature but it did not slow down.
