Third Person Narrative

"What do you want?" Asked Rex.

"Well I'll tell you as soon as an old friend says hi." Snake said with a small grin on his face. The image turned to face someone strapped on to a metal bord; it was Shatter. He was unconscious and he looked ok for the most; part but he had almost no color in his face. He had what looked like a breathing mask on.

Snake walked over to him, "Well he probably would I he was awake." Snake said lifted his head slightly.

"What do you want with Shatter and us!?" Said Rex again through grited teeth.

"Now. Now. Be patient." Snake said letting Shatters head fall forward. Then he just walked back and sat down.

"Now. I simply must correct you Rex, I don't all of you. I just want you, Ashling and your dear children." He said.

"If you lay a hand on our kids I'll kill you." Said Ash.

"Let me give you a small piece of advice. Don't make threats when you are in no position to use them." He said looking right at Ash. Then in the background you heard a slight moan, Snake turned his head and gave a small sigh.

"Well I have to go. Your friend woke up much faster then I anticipated. Well have a wonderful evening and good-by." He said. Then the pool of water disappeared and all was silent. But hidden in the shadows was Alexa, watching the whole thing. She quietly slipped away and walked silently on the deck of the ship. She looked around and then she saw Evilin sitting on a box carving a symbol into her bow.

"Hi." Said Alexa as she came up to Evilin.

"Hello. How are you?" Asked Evilin.

"Ok..." Alexa sighed.

"No. That was a lie and I can tell something is up." Said Evilin.

"My parents just got sort of a call from Snake." Said Alexa quietly.

"Oh. Listen nothing is going to happen to you or your parents. Ok. I promise." Said Evilin laying hand on her shoulder.

"Thank you but something tells me that he will find a way." Alexa said.

"Ok. Now don't think like that never think like that. If you think that way, you won't get anywhere in life. You need to pick your head up and keep moving forward." Said Evilin.

"Thanks. I have a question, do me and my brother have powers or abilitys like our parents?" Asked Alexa.

"There is only one way to find out." Said Evilin getting down from her box. And pulling a small ball from her pocket and handing it to Alexa. She took it was plain and was clear.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" Asked Alexa.

"Clear your mind and relax. Focus, breath, feel the wind on your face, her the water splashing against the ship." Said Evilin.

"Alright." Alexa replied. She closed her eyes and everything was silent. The wind blew threw her hair and the orb started glowing a pure silver then gold twisted into it; Some other colors swirled in side. Evilin's eyes widened, as the orb lifted right above her hand.

Then the orb dropped to the ground and Alexa opened her eyes "What happened?" Asked Alexa.

"Well you do have powers, and probably you brother dose too." Said Evilin.

"Really? But how do I use them?" Asked Alexa.

"We have to find someone to unlock them for you. And luckily I know just the person. But one problem she will never go that way." Said Evilin.
