A/N: Hello :) This is my new story for the summer, hope you guys are enjoying it so far.
It's supposed to be a relatively fluffy story, but this chapter has a bit of angst in it, and so will the first couple ones because Cas just fell and all.
So, here's the next part.
Please vote or comment if you guys liked the story, I would like to hear some of your feedback

“You went back to the Winchesters?”
“Of course I went back, I had no one else left.”
“I gave you a chance to get away from that kind of life, and you go waltzing right back into it. That was your one shot to get away scot-free.”
“You were the one who kept my memories intact.”
“Yes, but-”
“Knowing me you couldn’t have imagined that I wouldn’t have gone back to my dearest friends.”
“Knowing you I thought that you would have put too much guilt on your shoulders and you wouldn’t return to- hey sit back down I’m not finished.”
“If I knew you were going to be an ass about my story I wouldn’t have started telling it.”
“Yes, but now you’ve gotten me intrigued.”
“You shouldn’t have interrupted then.”
“You’re quite the stubborn one aren’t you.”
“I had that trait before I became human. You of all angels should know that.”
“Apologies, Castiel. May you please continue.”
“Yes, now that you asked nicely. So, Dean opened the door to the bunker…”
Chapter 2
I stiffened when I felt Dean’s arms around me, unsure of how to respond. Slowly, I wrapped my arms around him, and felt a little flutter in my chest when he pulled me tighter to him. I was happy that he was glad to see me, and I shouldn’t be feeling that. I should be paying penance for what I did to heaven.
“Are you okay?” Dean asked, pulling me into the bunker and slamming the door behind him. I looked up into his caring eyes, and felt a lump in my throat forming. All these new emotions that I was feeling, they were so much stronger now that I was human. I opened my mouth to speak, but the words wouldn’t come out. He nodded in understanding. “Yeah, cast out of heaven. Banished to earth like us hairless apes.” He winks, letting me know that he’s kidding.
“How’s Sam?” I whisper, not trusting my voice to a normal level.
“Not dead.” Dean answers, with a grimace. “But he was pretty damn close. I was able to talk him out of doing the trials, but he passed out on the way back from the church and has been comatose on the couch ever since.” I looked over Dean’s shoulder to find a mass underneath a blanket lying on the couch. I slumped a little, wishing that I had my angel powers back, so that I could at least try to help heal him. I was useless now.
“I’m sorry… I wish I could… If I…” I try and speak, but break down into silent sobs.
“Whoa whoa easy there buddy.” Dean pulls me into a hug again, and I lean into him, grateful for the support. “Sam will be fine.” He mutters, rubbing soothing circles into my back. “You’ll be fine.” I pull away from him this time. I cannot allow myself to be comforted.
