*Daya's POV*
Even when I was little I had a strong passion for music. Being an only child I didn't really have anyone to sing with but that didn't stop me. Whenever I heard a song I liked I would look up the lyrics and music. I would memories the lyrics until I didn't need the original singers help. When I have memorised the whole thing I would perform solos for my parent. Since I was an only child all of my parents attention was on me. I think that at first my parent were worried that I would be a kid that had no friends since I was so quiet. I would sit in my room and ignore the world until I had perfected a song when I perfected it I was like the sun and I never stopped shining. I had trouble making friends at first but one day when I was in the third grade it was reading time and I was in the corner of the room going over music lyrics when a girl named Mia walked over and asked what I was doing. I kindly replied with "I'm going over some music lyrics for a new song." She asked if she could help I told her yes that she could read over it with me. Well as the days went by we became best friends. I found out she actually had an amazing voice. Our voices were perfect they went perfectly in sinc together. During the week she would come over to my house to go over songs and perform for my parents. On the weekends we would go to her house and mess around with crazy song lyrics. When we were about 11 we started to write our own songs. We would spend weeks on end working on songs. When we would finally finish a song we would get our two families to have dinner together and then after we ate Mia and I would get our music and perform for each family. We would make music videos to go on YouTube, I think the most views we have ever had was 4,367. The best part was everyone who saw our music videos loved the songs. In middle school we joined chorus and we quit because it wasn't challenging and we didn't think the teacher was recognising our talent. We emailed recordings of us singing and whenever we had karaoke days we would perform original song. The teacher always said that we sounded terrific and that we had an amazing talent but she never gave us solos or duets she even sat us at the back of the class. So finally we realised that we had to much talent for her to just ignore it and we quit chorus. We continued to write original song, post music videos on YouTube, and perform in every talent show the school ever had. Now it is our senior year and we are determined for both of us to get a scholarship to the best music school in Australia,Domination University.
