Perfect Harmony

First Day

*Daya's POV*
Most seniors would wake up on there first day of their senior year either scared to go to school or happy that it will be over soon. I woke up determined, determined that this year I would get a scholarship to Determined University. First thing I did was text Mia to wake her up and tell her that I would be there to pic her up soon. Then I got my clothes and went to the bathroom to get ready. After about 20 minutes of getting ready in the bathroom I went down stair and ate breakfast. I then said bye to my parents to pick up Mia. I ran out side and hopped in my bright red mustang, another great thing about being an only child with kind of rich parent  you always get the best things. Soon I was on my way to pick up Mia, now Mia can drive but we just think it a lot more fun to ride together. Now again you would think since I had rich parents and had really nice things like a bright red mustang I would be very popular but no. I could be loud and boss like the popular girls but I prefer the nerd style. I get all A's and like to concentrate on my music Mia is exactly the same way. Me and my have it good we have the same class schedule, the best teachers, and we are allowed to use the auditorium during our free period and after school. We get to school and like every other day all eyes are on the two nerds in the bright red mustang. We have learned to ignore it over the years to we just grab our stuff get out of the car and begin heading to our lockers. Of course when we get to our lockers the queen bee of the school and her annoying followers come up to bug us. Just to say there names are queen bee:Mackenzie Followers: Jackson,Jake,Aron,Brittany,Quinn,and Alec. Mackenzie comes up to us and decides to be a major diva jerk. "What do you want Mackenzie" Mia and I say together "I just wanted to say that I can't wait spend another fabulous year with you and Mia and also that you two need to stay out of our way." Most people would think we would be shocked that she said this to us but for us it's just another normal day. After she said that Mia and I just got our stuff and began walking to first period. The day went by like any other day we went to first, second, third,lunch,free period,sixth, and seventh. Both Mia and I agree that the best part of our day is after school when we can work on our song in the auditorium. We had been working on a new song it's called sweet whispers, we had been waiting all week for school to start so that we could use the auditorium to practice it. We ran through it a couple times then recorded it to see how it sounded and just as we thought it sounded perfect.
