So, in my Pop Culture class we had to write a song about the '50s and my group and I did ours on Buddy, of course. We did it to the tune of Jingle Bell Rock...and this was the result:

The Buddy Holly Rock

Buddy Holly, Buddy Holly, Buddy Holly rock

Plays his guitar and people admire

His music lives on for centuries to come

Now the Holly Hop has begun

Buddy Holly, Buddy Holly, Buddy Holly rock

Born and raised in Lubbock Texas

Singing and dancing to You're So Square

In the Texan air.

It's a dark time, it's the wrong time

To fly in a plane

It's a dark time, it's the wrong time

To get in a plane

Left the airport from Iowa

Landed in a field the same day

A-Singin' and a-dancin' to The Crickets' beat

That's the Buddy Holly,

That's the Buddy Holly,

That's the Buddy Holly rock

To the great Buddy Holly above...I am so sorry xD
