Short story

I wake up early in the morning and had fallen off of the mattress. My blanket sprawled out across from me. I slowly sat up, i sluggishly stood up and walked out of my room. I walked down stairs to get my brother and I breakfast. I assumed papyrus was sleeping soundly, I go into the kitchen and the floor was pretty cold against my bare feet, I start to make pancakes and egg, I usually don't make food: 1 we have Grillby's, 2 papyrus gets up and makes spaghetti, and 3 I'm to lazy to make food. I heard foot steps upstairs, probably papyrus. I finish up the pancakes and then make the eggs, papyrus comes into the kitchen and made a very noisy yawn "GOOD MORNING SANS!" He said very cheerfully "morning bro." I say in a tired-tone, I set down both of our plates, papyrus lets out a small squeal of joy "OH BROTHER. THANK YOU SO MUCH!" he began to scarf down his food, I'm guessing he's excited to make puzzles today, I ate my food slowly, then papyrus finished his food and ran out if the kitchen into his room. I later finish my food and I go to sit in the couch, to wait for my brother to rush down stairs and ask me to make puzzles with him. As expected, papyrus came running down the stairs almost tripping and falling on his face "BROTHER LET'S GO MAKE PUZZLES FOR THE HUMAN!" he said in an overexcited tone "sure let's do it." papyrus then opens the door, I got up to go follow my brother. We walked down a snow-covered path for a while, papyrus then stopped and said in his heroic tone "THE HUMAN IS SUPPOSED TO COME DOWN THIS PATH SOON." He held up a foot-long stick, "you are this stick? Well its not a normal stick" papyrus then took a bottle of an anonymous liquid and dumped a profuse amount of the liquid onto the stick. "here's my plan, the human will try to complete the maze I got up there yesterday" he points to a tall, sloppily built, cardboard maze "they will pass through to get this very temting sick" I nodded and looked over to the maze "BUT! THE STICK IS POISONED WITH A SLEEPING DRUG, THEN WE'LL BE ABLE TO CAPTURE THEM! Do you think it will work brother?" papyrus asks "yeah I think it will" I said, but his puzzles usually fail. I would never tell him that though I love him to much to do that, he's my only family I have left. "LET'S WAIT FOR THE HUMAN!" he happily skipped over to the end if the puzzle, I went and sat on a pile of snow near my brother. After a while of waiting we saw the human approach, they looked...diffrent.....the human went around the maze in an almost gloomy state and ignored the stick fully, then stood in front of papyrus.  I have a very bad feeling about this, something seemed extremely off "human what are you doing? Papyrus says in confusion, the human was holding what seemed to be an average kitchen knife, the human suddenly moved and lunges their knife out at papyrus "WATCH OUT!" I steamed at papyrus. Papyrus moved out if the way but was cut in the arm, orange blood started pouring out if the cut "papyrus run" I closed my right eye and light up the other, no one messes with my brother, and I mean no one
....eh maybe me, but back to the matter at hand. The human turned to me and had this insane look on their face, I prepared a bone attack and waited for the human to act, the human did a similar attack to me but to a different area of my body, I quickly doged the attack and used my bone attack. I hit the human once but they dodged the rest of the attack "brother let me help!" my brother ran over to help "NO DONT" in a blind rage I used a weak attack to push him out of the way, papyrus flew back to the ground from the human. I shouldn't have moved papyrus by force I should have just told him, shit, I didn't have to hurt him, I turn back to the human still worrying about papyrus, the human screamed and charged forward I fired another bone attack they dodged all of them and sliced my arm open. I quickly shoot him with one of the Gaster Blasters, the human fell to the ground and didn't get up. I rushed over to my brother who was laying on the ground, tears well up in my eyes as I help him up. Papyrus seemed pretty okay just had a scratched right arm.....and a broken rib. "brother are you okay?" papyrus said worryingly with a hint of pain in his voice "don't worry about me, I'm okay." really I was not okay I just hurt my brother, I thought I may have killed the human, and I was hurting like hell. We walked ourselves home an called an ambulance. We arrived at the hospital and got treated for our wounds, aperently i was sliced across my chest. We arrived back to our house and sat on the couch and rested. No words where spoken since the hospital which was for only checking in. "I'm so sorry papyrus....uh, for hurting you." papyrus looked over at me and gave me his signature smile "its okay brother, I forgive you, I know you were only trying to protect me." I let out a sigh of relief knowing that he doesn't hate me, we both slowly drifted to sleep on the couch.
I woke up. The house was really dark, I looked over to my side, papyrus wasn't there, confused I looked around the house for him, calling his name. The last place I checked was his room I opened the door to see the most horrific thing I've ever seen in my whole entire life, papyrus was kneeling on the floor, a knife sticking out of his skull and a note stuck to his chest "p-pap?" I said quietly he didn't respond, I rushed over to him. "are you okay?" no response. tears welled up in my eyes, he's dead, I stared sobbing and hugged his dead body. I looked at the note and I said "he's dead, and you're dead too." I felt a sharp pain in my back and then neck my vision slowly faded, I am dying. I shoot up in a cold sweat, I pant slowly and lay back down, I though to myself 'what a horrible dream'
