Or Things Will End Badly

I walked downstairs in my pjs as I heard laughing and talking. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion but quickly turned into fear when I saw who was in the kitchen with my parents. Jason was trying to prove a point and he was doing great in making me understand that he could end my parents life in a split second.

"Good morning future Mrs. McCann." Jason kissed my forehead as he smiled into the kiss. Both my parents smiled at me, as I stood still like I was paralyzed. The fear had turned me into a statue for a minute. I cleared my throat trying to find something to say, something that wouldn't anger Jason.

"....what's for breakfast mom." I said walking past Jason and ignoring his affectionate gesture that wasn't at all welcomed by me.

"You didn't tell us you were getting married Kylie." A wide smiled formed on her face leaning on the counter awaiting for a answer to escape my mouth.

I don't want to mom, he threatened yours and dads life if I didn't give him my hand in marriage. That is what I wanted to say, that was the truth. But she could never know or her and dad would be put in an unsafe place. I turned looking at Jason who had a fake smile waiting beside my father like he was waiting for me to say something I wasn't supposed to so he could end the first life.

"I guess I was being selfish, wanting to keep this wonderful news to myself." I forced a joyful smile showing my teeth, hoping it was enough for my mother to buy or else I would be in deep trouble with Jason.

Then I felt large hands snake themselves around my waist from before before pulling me into a hug from behind as he kissed my cheek. I could tell he was enjoying this watching me not being able to do anything in the situation knowing I had no control over what he wanted. While I rather be as far as possible from him safe with my parents possibly meeting a new boy someone far different than Jason.

"Such a greedy thing to do, eat up Kylie." My mother smiled as she placed a plate of pancakes on the table placing the bottle of syrup beside it. I thanked her before seating. I sat down next to my dad as he held a chat with Jason talking about the up coming game which didn't catch my interest. Instead I quickly ate and placed my dish in the sink speed walking to the stairs trying to capture enough alone time to figure out what to do but I was stopped halfway up the stairs when someone grabbed my wrist forcefully.

"Hey that's no way to treat your fiance." Jason smiled staring at my frightened face, lost for words as if I had no tongue in my mouth, unable to speak. I looked into the kitchen seeing my parents both talking as if we were alone, blind to anything happening around them, I turned back to Jason trying to avoid his intense stare.

"Why are you here? I agreed to marry you but you can't just show up at my parents house!" I whispered yelled making sure I caught no ones attention or else they would throw questions about Jason which he didn't like at all.

He grew mad but didn't want to explode because of my parents, it would somehow put a bump in his plan somewhere in his mind.

"Why don't you show me your room honey." He growled fed up and tighten his killer grip on my wrist forcefully dragging me up the rest of the staircase. I tried pulling away but lets face it, he was stronger. Soon we found ourselves in my room before Jason closed and locked my bedroom door.

I moved as far as possible away from Jason as he started to come closer, his heavy footsteps making my wooden bedroom floor creak. But I know there was no way of escaping when my back came to a sudden stop as it met the wall.

"You better act like you love me or else things will end badly Kylie." Jason whispered licking his lips, hazel eyes gazing into mine as he put a strand of loose hair behind my right ear. I shivered at the gesture, this little distance between us made me very uncomfortable.

"G-Got it." I struggled getting the words out afraid he would strike my face with his unoccupied hand at anytime.

He nodded licking his plump pink lips once more then making my eyes widened, like I was in a pitch black room trying to catch a glimpse of my surroundings, as I saw Jason start to lean in with closed eyes. I had to think of something fast before his disgusting lips touched mine. So I scrapped my mind for anything useful.

"When are we getting married?" I blurted out making him stop leaning in opening his eyes as he smiled like a kid in a candy store.

"Ah I see someones in a rush to become Mrs. McCann." Jason chuckled with his deep voice. I rolled my eyes, only if he knew I only said that to stop him from making contact with me and my lips.

"In a rush to divorce you." I mumbled making his stare become cold and emotionless.

"You're getting fitted for your dress tomorrow. I will pick you up at 10. And as far as our wedding day i'm not sure, but soon." He said sitting himself on my long sized bed, both feet planted on the floor.

I huffed shaking my head. How did I ever date this cold heartless criminal. I stared at Jason while he now laid on my bed in his own thoughts. I always wondered what kind of thoughts went on in a criminal such as Jason's head. It was all a mystery. But I knew it probably wasn't good since all he did was bad.

I walked into my closet ignoring my thoughts while picking out my clothes for the day. After I found a decent outfut I turned seeing Jason was still laying down in thought.

I cleared my throat managing to capture Jason's attention. I waved my clothes in the air giving him a signal, get out because i'm going to change and I rather not have you watch.

"Do you mind?" I rolled my eyes waiting for him to respond instead of laying there like he didn't know what I meant.

"No I don't, strip for daddy." He smirked sitting up leaning both of his elbows on his knees giving me his full undivided attention.

I scoffed at his disgusting response, he was still the same perverted Jason. I grabbed my clothes and decided not to argue with him anymore and headed to the bathroom. After changing I walked out back into my room to a Jason free room, I smiled finally allowed to have privacy. I picked up my phone from my nightstand sitting on my bed swinging my legs up and decided to dial Mia's number.

"Hey girl what's up?" She chirped into the phone when she picked up in almost less than a second. "Let's go to the movies or something, I need to get my mind of things." I huffed as I remembered I was being forced to marry my ex but I didn't have the courage to tell her so I decided to steer clear from the conversation.
