You Will Say Yes
I sat across from Jason as we sat in a fancy restaurant. I watched closely as he stared at my face with a difficult expression to read. He cleared his throat before he spoke up.
"It's nice to see you again Kylie." Jason smiled taking a sip from the expensive white wine.
I rolled my eyes. Why did I even agree to meet him again. I wanted nothing from this horrible monster I used to love. "What is it that you want Jason?" I blurted out wanting to get to the point. There was no use in stalling because I wanted to leave and never see him again.
I examined his face as he got up from his chair and walk next to mine. He softly grabbed my hand as he stood me up while he went on one knee. I became nervous real quick. "Will you marry me? You're my one love I can't be without." He sweetly kissed my hand.
This was unbelievable. Jason didn't change, this was all an act. I didn't want to be with him. Jason lost my heart and there will never be any place in it for him.
"Jason, I don't love you anymore." I said turning my head not being able to look at his face anymore. Soon my hand began to hurt as I felt his grip on my hand become unbearably hard. My head snapped sideways as my eyes stared into his eyes. His hazel orbs became black and laced with rage.
"You're mine Kylie. You will say yes. Say it." He growled lowly as his hateful eyes staring deeply into mine.
He hasn't changed. He is still the same heartless man who used to beat and cheat on me. Not to mention he used to lie about it straight in my face. I will not be one of those foolish girls. I refuse.
"I can't Jason. May I leave?" I asked pulling my hand away from his killer grip. "I'll walk you to your car." He hatefuly stated closing his fist looking like he was going to explode with fire and I would be burned with that same fire.
I nodded wanting to just leave forever, I picked up my purse while Jason threw two hundred dollar bills on the table. I walked out the restaurant quickly as Jason trailed behind. But right when we were out of sight and in front of my car, I was forcefully pushed against it.
"Listen and listen carefully Kylie." He began placing his pointing finger and thumb on my chin as he turned me to face him, making stare him in his icy cold hazel eyes.
"When I ask you to marry me, you will fucken marry me!" He yelled slamming his fist ontop if my car making me close my eyes scared for my life.
The fear in me from years ago came back rushing in. I didn't know what to say, I was lost of words. Until the confidence came back, I had to stand up for myself before the past came back and would become my future.
"I will not marry a heartless monster like you Jason McCann." I said pushing his body away from my small frame, still leaning against my car door. He smirked and began to laugh evily. Before he reached into his front pocket and taking out his phone doing a few things.
"You see darling, you have no choice. Either you marry me or your parents...yeah your fucken parents will die." He smiled and it grew wider as he saw the fear and defeat run across my face until it finally took over, covering my face like a mask. The mention of my parents made me scared. They ment everything to me and if they died I'd be lost.
"Don't you dare touch them Jason!" I yelled on the verge of tears as I didn't dare move as stood in front of me.
"Oh baby I won't. But he will." He fake frowned holding up his phone enough for me to see clearly. On the screen was a live video. The camera was pointed and was recording my parents in there bedroom. My mother reading a book as my dad watched tv. The camera was soon turned around to face a masked man who held a gun in his hand.
As my eyes watched in fear, the tears began to flow down my face rapidly. My stomach flipped up side down from being scared. That man could end my parents life from the approval of Jason.
"Now." Jason began as he sliped his phone away in his pocket. "Let's try this again." He pulled out an big ring that looked very expensive before getting on his knee.
"Will you marry me Kylie Jenner?" He asked taking my hand.
I didn't want to marry him. But it was either spend forever with him or be guilty forever knowing I could have saved my parents. The tears came out more looking at Jason on his knee. And believe me it wasn't because I was happy. I was sad, horribly sad I had to marry him.
"Yes." I whispered as I sobbed.
And that's how I agreed to be Mrs. McCann...
