Sal's POV -
I was at lunch, standing with my friends by the counters. So far, I've only told my sister about the date I have with Haley. I bet all of Haley's friends know too. I felt a tap on my shoulder so I turned around.
"Hey," I smiled as soon as I saw Haley.
"Hi, I forgot to return your jacket," she said shyly as she handed me back my jacket. To be honest, I knew she had my jacket, I didn't mind her keeping it, but I took it back anyway.
"Oh, thanks." I took the jacket. "So you know how today is the Aids thing day?"
She nodded, "Yeah."
"We were reading this thing in class and she asked what it was," I laughed, facepalming.
"Oh my god..," she laughed with me. Everything is so cute about her, what the fuck..
I smiled, "I have to go get some books from my locker though, do you want to come?"
"Sure."
I lead the way and walked to the staircase as Haley was following. We walked up the steps together. I couldn't help but notice the way she ran her hands through her hair and how she pushed up her glasses. Does that make me creepy now? I opened up my locker, put my jacket in, and pulled out a few books. I closed my locker door shut, then leaned against it. She watched me closely as I laid my eyes on her. Right as I opened my mouth to speak, the bell rang. Ugh, I have terrible luck with timing.
I sighed, "I see you in math later?"
She smiled softly at me, "Yeah, see you then."
