Haley's POV -
The next day, same routine. I sat in the same spot. Same time, he walked in. I kept staring at my phone, pretending not to notice him. He walked over to me, "Hey."
I finally looked up, "Hi," I said quietly.
"I saw a little beetle walking over a leaf in my driveway this morning. Imagine if they could drive," He smiled and sat down. He acted as if nothing happened yesterday.
I nodded and smiled slightly. Why was he acting like this? Did he not remember the drawing?

Sal's POV -
I didn't think the drawing was such a big deal, it was just something a friend would do to be funny. I could tell Haley was trying to avoid me yesterday and I felt pretty bad, I'm trying to act normal and bring up another conversation. "Just imagine little beetles screaming and squirming their small arms around in a traffic jam," I laughed nervously. She's obviously acting different.
She laughed a little. It was really cute. "Anyways, do you think maybe that we can hang out and talk a little at lunch?" I was really nervous about asking this question but I went for it.
"Yeah, sure," she smiled, nodding.
"Ok, cool. I'll see you then," I grinned, walking away.
