"Ohhh that feels so good!"

Adrianna was lounging in a scalding hot bath wishing she had some bubbles to go with it.  She felt sore from her horse adventure and couldn't even imaging how she would feel if she actually rode Bella for more than 45 minutes if she felt this way!  She relaxed and closed her eyes, her mind wandering over the events of the day.  What a day! It was alot to take in but she felt so much better getting it all in the open with Trent.  He was a sweet man and she never wanted to hide anything from him again.  He had given her a chance and she wasn't about to screw it all up.

Then there was Josh.  Hot, steamy, frustrating Josh.  Not at all her type but yet she was drawn to him regardless of what she thought her preferences were before.  She wasnt sure what the cards held for them but would take it day by day.

She still had to figure out what the future held for her.  She had to figure herself out before she returned home.  Home.  Where was home anyways? Sure, she had her parents' home back in Seattle but she had no real ties to it.  She could sell it and move on but that left the question of where to move on to and what she would do for a career.  Heck, maybe she would just stay here for the rest of her life.  Trent said she was welcome as long or short as she needed.  She pictured herself years down the road.  Grey haired and baking pies for the ranch hands.  Ha!  Trent wouldnt live forever and what would happen after he wasnt around anymore? No, she needed to get her head in the game and figure something out.

For some reason the talk she had overheard about the Cooper place came back into her mind.  Maybe she would sell her parents' home and buy that place.  That was even more laughable.  She could picture the cows staring at her like 'Oh hell, look at the city slicker.  We are all going to starve to death." Or better yet, "Hey Trent, will you teach me to be a rancher?" Oh the boys would love that!

She jolted up when her mind went back to her previous life.  She had promised to check in and hadn't yet.  Her friends were probably worried.  She hadn't meant to be so selfish.

She stood up and wrapped a towel around herself and unplugged the bathtub. She peeked outside and saw that there were still men out around the fire and Trent was easily visible.  Grabbing up her phone she punched in a number.  Funny, she hadn't even used her phone the entire time she had been here. Previously she had never been over 2 feet from it at all times.

"Hello?..." Was that a giggle?

"Shelby?" Adrianna asked.

"Adrianna! Oh! Adrianna, how are you? Gianni, stop that, its her!" Adrianna heard the phone move and Gianni,

"Hey you.  Ive been worried. How are you?"

"I'm...I'm good.  Don't worry.  I'm sorry I haven't called.  Please don't worry. " She pleaded.

"Come home and we will stop worrying! Everything will be OK, we will get you sorted out here but please come back."

"I cant Gianni.  I just cant. Not yet anyways.  It sounds like married life has agreed with you though.  I'm so happy for you guys. Anyways, I will check in more regularly I swear but just be patient with me.  I'm actually having a great time and am taken care of here."

"Thats good to hear but I wont give up." The phone moved again and Shelby was back.

"Honey you take as long as you need.  We will always be here for you no matter what."

"Thanks girl. I appreciate it.  Now, you guys go work on giving me a nephew or niece!"

"Already have and should be here in about 7 months..." Shelby told her and Adrianna could hear the smile through the phone. "So you have 7 months to get back here!"
