Preschool. A word that literally could send her mother into a terrifying shock. Her baby would be introduced to the monsters we call kids, the sick and cruel demons who can make the sweetest girl go numb.The kids who were told one little rumor and made it spread like the plague just to ruin one child's life, this was a term not every single child knew at that age, SUICIDAL.
We should have been taught sooner the mother thought. We should've known the word like the back of our hand. But it was because we were to young that the teachers hesitated, because the we to innocent. hah.
It was time for school shopping. They headed to the 99 cent store and got her everything : 2 pencils , 1 notebook, 1 highlighter, and 2 1st grader books. she bought Alaska a 2 dollar Dora backpack at the thrift store along with 4 outfits considering she currently only owned 2.The total price for everything was under 20 dollars. But they still were broke they literally were living off 2 dollars a day and ramen noodles.
Her mother needed a job . She had gotten fired from her old job because the man who owned the shack was the man who raped her. Today she applied for 5 different jobs: local thrift store, McDonalds, Starbucks, online research, and Walmart. She was going to change, she just knew it,
But on the inside her daughter knew she was going to get worse, because it has to get worse before anything can get better.
