New Beginnings

Chapter 3: The Studio

Harry's POV.

I'm not gonna lie, when Simon told us a girl would be touring with us, I was a little upset. This is our second tour and I just wanted to bond with my mates. But now that I know Natalie a little better I'm glad she's here. Yesterday we had a cooking challenge and our team won! It was a fun way to get to know her a little better. She's so funny and nice, I can tell this tour is going to be really fun.

Natalie's POV.

So today is going to be my first day in the studio. While I'm recording the boys will be rehearsing since our first show is in a week and a half. I nervous about performing I've preformed infront of crowds before but never a crowd this huge! Last night I was super nervous about recording but Harry hung out with me for a while in my room and talked to me about how it's nothing but singing and I shouldn't buy worry about anything. It's really nice talking to him he can make me feel better. Glad I have someone here like that.

On the way to the car I decide to sit by Niall because I really haven't talked to him at all this whole time. I'm not sure if he's always this quite or just around me but either maybe I can get him out of his shell a little bit.

"Hey" I smiled and said as I sat next to Niall.

"Hi." he said and shyly smiled.

After about five minuets and that's all we've said to each other I'm gonna try to make some more conversation.

"So what's touring like?" I ask him.

"It's real fun just super tiring, you better be ready for it!" He says and laughs .

"I think I am just a little nervous! Do you think I'm going to share a bus with you guys or getting my own?"

"Oh I don't know. we've never toured with a girl before. And the only other opening act we've had was another band so of course they would. I guess it's just up to Paul." he answers.

"Yeah your right, thanks."

"anytime" He says and looks out the window.

I guess he doesn't like to talk much I have no idea. Or maybe he just doesn't like me, but what have I done?

I just got out of recording and it went really well! I sang my four songs that I wrote and the other six that the song writers gave me. I really like all of them ex specially this one called Im still here. It's about a boy who broke up wit a girl and he's moved on but she hasn't. I know typical but it's really good. About half way through I saw someone come into the sound room but I couldn't see the face all I could see was a jack wills hoodie. Im guessing it was Harry coming to see how I was doing because he seems like the type to do that.

As I'm walking out of the booth Simon pulls me aside. Did I do something wrong? oh no!

"Natalie, did you like recording?" He asks

"Y-yess" I say nervously

"Good because you did very well today. But we do need you to come back tomorrow for a song that we need some touch ups on. Im glad Demi found you. Your gonna go far."

"Oh wow thank you so much." I say and hug him real fast. At first he seems startled but the hugs back.

After that when were leaving I pull out my phone and make a twitter update that reads "@natalieworth Good day in the studio. Excited for the tour!"

(don't know if that's a real username or not I just made it up) When I look up from my phone I feel someone nudge me against the wall. It's Liam.

"How was it?" He asks me.

"Actually pretty good despite my nerves, I only have to redo one song tomorrow."

"Wow that's pretty good. My first time I was so bloody nervous I couldn't get but two lines of a song out. So Niall volunteered to go infront of me while I calmed down. It was so embarrassing." Liam says.

"Hahahhaha!" I say laughing really hard!

"Yeah yeah yeah laugh all you want!"

"Oh and I sure will." I say

"Speaking of Niall, He's been so quiet lately. Has he said anything to you?"Liam asks.

"No we've barely talked at all. I mean a little in the car but nothing really." I answer.

"Huh. I wonder what's up with him. He's usually not that quiet."

"I don't think he really likes me. I tried to talk to him in the car but he kept being really short and looking out the window.'' I say.

"It's usually not like him to be so quick to judge. But I'll find out." He says as he walks away.

Well then.

Niall's POV.

And she will be loved, she will be loved... I sing under my breath walking down the hallway towards the car.

"Hey mate wait up." I here Liam say, so I stop.

"You've been awfully quite here lately, is everything okay?" He asks me.

"Yeah I've just been feeling a little mixed up."

"How so? you know you can talk to me about anything." - Liam

"It's Natalie."

"What you don't like her? She's really cool once you get t..." I cut him off by saying.

"No it's the opposite, I think I'm starting to like her."

"Oh, we'll whats so wrong with that?''

"I think Harry does too. I can see the way he looks a her and talks to her. When we did the cooking thing I really wanted to be on her team. I've just been so quite because I don't know how to deal with it all. I don't stand a chance against Harry he always gets the girl."

"Ahh mate, you can't think like that. Be positive you never know she just might like you back. Right now she thinks you don't like her though."

"Really she said that? Ah shit!" I say forgetting Liam doesn't like cussing, but he just blows it off.

"It's okay. All you have to do is fight for her. And actually talk to her."

"I see, I'll try but I don't know how it's gonna go."

"Okay if you ever need to talk let me know."

" I will, thanks man."

"Anytime"

And with that we're at the car and take our seats.

I look to the back our seats from before so I could sit by Natalie and talk to her but Harry has already taken my seat. Ugghh. Are you kidding me.
