Cassidy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At lunch I went to my girlfriend Cassidy to talk about my problem.
She's good with stuff like that.
She's always helping me out with my problems.
My normal problems.
Normal issues.
Issues every 8th grader faces.
I sat down next to her.
"Hey" I said
"You look like upset." Cassidy said. "How'd you do on the test? Was it hard"
"No it's not that" I said and then told her about my moms birthday.
"What should I get her?" I asked
"I don't know" she admitted.
"Maybe I shouldn't go to the dive this afternoon" I told her, "I don't think I'll have time"
"I think you need to go, though." She said "You know it helps clear your mind, besides your mom pays a lot of money on those dives and wasting her money wouldn't be a very good gift."
I knew she was right so I said, "True but I need to find a good gift soon."
"You know your mom better than anybody else so you should probably pick something out yourself." She said.
She wasn't much help but I said thanks anyway.
Then the bell rang and I left.
Left the normal cafeteria.
Left the normal cafeteria to continue on with my normal life.
It wouldn't be normal for long.
