Opening The Oysters

I gathered the oysters.
I heard the uglier the oysters on the outside the prettier the pearl.
I gathered ugly oysters.
Normal ugly oysters.
At least I thought they were normal.
They weren't.
Anyway, we gathered some more information and surfaced.
"It's beautiful down there" Fred said.
"Yup," I agreed "hey do you know anything about these oysters?" I asked, showing him a handful.
"Nope," he replied "I've never been to this beach before but if your looking for pearls though those look like the right kind to have them." He pointed at my handful of oysters.

I headed home with my bag of oysters and dive gear.
When I got home I immediately opened my laptop and searched up the types of pearls.
I got a whole bunch if white useless ones, then I had one gold one that turned out to be pretty valuable about $25. Then I found a speckled one.
A blue and green speckled one.
I couldn't find a match on the Internet.
This could possibly be the first pearl of its kind to be found and I was going to make it into a necklace.
