Nightmares are just honest dreams.
Showing you the truth of reality in your sleep.
And sure, they're frightening but so is life.
They're not meant to sugarcoat, but help you survive.
They don't give you what you want, but what you need. Because not all stories end happily.
So yes, you might cry, scream, and fight, but I'd rather do that than exist in a lie.
