It's my 2nd year of college. I decided to attend school in the states because I knew it was a big privilege to be able to attend a college here, rather than in the Philippines. I've lived here in the states for awhile now, but I just assumed that when I was finished with high school that I would go back home for college. I've lived with my Tita Jack ever since the beginning of junior high here in San Francisco since most OFWs lived here, in which my Tita is one of them. My parents wanted the best for me so I was sent to live here to ensure that I get a really good education. I ended up staying in San Francisco for college and my parents were able to send me some money to help pay for my college tuition. It's great in California and in the States, overall. But I guess I miss home a little.
