The road to recovery

*Danny's POV*

~December 15~

I run to the bathroom slamming the door behind me. Before bursting into silent tears coz Jess is just in the room next door. Them I go into my wash-bag and pull out a kitchen knife. I push it on its side so it won't cut, into my skin. I turn to the sink and slip the knife around the other way so it basically butchers a part of my arm. Jessie comes running in. "Danny! Don't baby please" -J-

I turn to face her and toss the knife into the sink...she gasps when she see my arm.

"I'm sorry babe...it's just the stress...it got the better of me" -D-

She smiled.

"It's okay just promise you won't do it again" -J-

"I promise." -D-

"Okay!, we're going out!"

"Oh."-D-

"Me and you are going shopping for Christmas presents" -J-

"Okay ill go get ready" -D-

I run to the kitchen and wrap a bandage around my throbbing arm and pull my jumper off. I ginger changed into the jeans that will got me and the top that he got me, I throw on the beads that Tom got me me my black limited addition converse on.

I only had ten minutes so my hit gas up in a messy quiff. I sprinted to meet Jessie on the doorstep.

~at the VIP shopping centre~

"Let's split up so we can get each others stuff" -J-

"Okay meet me back here in n hour?" -D-

"Yeah" she walks away. So I walk in the other direction. My hairs a mess...I need to sort it out. I jog over to the sports shop and grab a beanie hat off the shelf before running to the till.

I walk to New Look to get Jess a new pair of shoes and some clothes. And a heap of other things.

~hour later~

I jog back to the car with two arms and a back full if bags I throw them in the boot as Jessie has put hers in the back seats.

She drives us home were we collapse onto the sofa in each others arms and I drift of to sleep with the biggest smile I've had in a long time.
