Now And Then

You asked me if I loved you, I tried to tell you I do with all my heart.
I tried to prove to you how much I loved you.
It worked for a time.
If you asked me now I'd tell you. Without telling you.
I'd say:
"If you literally fell in love with someone, then I would have jumped off a cliff and on my way down I realize I was falling. So I start to try to stop myself. But I continue to run to kiss the bottom. When I do my whole body brakes. But I realize. It was worth it."
