Chapter 2

First, I would really like to apologize for not updating daily like I promised to. I swear on my life that I never even noticed that there were so many views (it may not be a lot to others, but to me, it's A LOT) I was really shocked when I saw the views! Thanks a lot guys, really, *wipes tears* you made my day! Just so you know, I'm going to update daily if there are at least 10 views for each chap starting from now.

Chapter 02

Jun's POV

My dad cleared his throat to get my attention. "We have something to tell you." He repeated.

"Uh huh." I put down my blue pen on my really thick Biology book. Hopefully, this time won't be as awkward as last time.

My mum took a deep breath before saying, "Jun, you're going to be engaged."

It took me a few moments to process what she just told me.

Did the word 'engaged' really came out of my mum'd mouth?

"I'm engaged?" I asked to confirm that I wasn't hearing it wrongly.

"Yes, you're engaged."

"Is this a dream?" A nightmare?

I want to wake up if it really is a nightmare.

"No, Jun, it's not. You're really engaged." My dad said.

No.

"Who?" It came out like a whisper but they still heard it.

"The heir to the Jeon Company, Jeon Jungkook."

"The Jeon Company?" The one that owns many 5 star rated hotels in the country? The Jungkook that goes to the same private high school as me? The same Jungkook that is now dating Cindy Choi, the head cheerleader?

Please say no, please say no.

"Yes."

I slumped onto my chair.

"We're having dinner with them tomorrow, by the way." My mum informed me before walking out of the room.

My dad patted me on my shoulder before going.

Life just can't get any better.

My mum told me the dinner was at 7 pm and I should dress more formal for the dinner.

I wore a simple white dress that ends just above my knee, it's long sleeve too, in case it gets cold at night. I really like this dress, it's a birthday present from my mum. The dress hugs my curves perfectly and it isn't showing too much. I slipped on a pair of comfortable white pumps.

I only applied some mascara and strawberry lip balm. Honestly, I don't really know how to use make-up unlike Minah. Minah's my best friend in high school, she's like my older sister I never have. She's an expert at helping me doing the make-up stuffs. So whenever I have a special event, I just asked her to come over to my house and help me with it.

Speaking of Minah, I haven't told her about the engagement thing. I didn't know how to  break the news to her and I certainly didn't want to see how she would react.

Ding ding-

A small and soft bell sound rang for a few seconds and my phone screen lighted up.
